Hi all, my names Steve Simmons and I run a company called Hampshire Boilers. I'm going to do a Tool Talk review on the Expert Trades website package. I'm going to try something a little bit different today and actually try out my new Mac and a screen recording. So bear with.
So please bear with 'cause I'm new to a Mac and this is the first screen recording I've ever done. So this is my website, now the reasons why I like it is because it's so simple and it's so slick. It moves and navigates pretty simply, I added a few things onto it. So I've got True Quote here, which is extra, and you can almost like Box, Dispose and others. You can generate your own sort of quote in a couple of seconds. Series of questions, I won't go through it all now. I do actually, it's only been on a few months, and I've started to notice I'm getting maybe two a week at the moment, sort of quotes through there. People find it, it's the modern generation isn't it really. It's just quick, as it says it takes 30 seconds, and I think people like that. They don't like the idea of having to wait for people or take days off, or use up their evenings for this. They can just get it, even if it's just a very rough price.
We've obviously got some content here and then yes, we are Worcester Bosch accredited installers. We've got a very brief summary of sort of discounts and who we are, and what we do. Again this is more available in the offers page, which you can have a look as many offers as you like. Checkatrade widget, see if you're on Checkatrade, it's good. Again it's all just a very ... A lot of these are on individual pages. But when you're on a desktop or even mobile then it's all seamlessly scrolling through page by page, rather than having to continuously click. It looses that clinky, clunky feeling really. Gallery, and then a brief summary if they want to contact us. They can type in the name, email, details, and stuff here, which then links to the office package, which also I find pretty good. I run my business through it.
So if someone for instance, Dave Smith sort of sends in and then I get a notification on the app. I get a text message, and an email to say, Dave Smith wants quotes for a boiler service. So you get the idea, that's nice, get it all interlinks. You can find us on different things. Facebook widget also here, if you've got a Facebook business page also there will be, I don't really have it 'cause I just don't get along with it. But a Twitter feed here if you're good on Twitter. Yeah and there's a few thing's sort of the offers page, you can either toggle on and off. So if you don't offer offers then doing worry about it. Service plans again, this is quite a new feature for the guys.
If you're looking into service plans, and you want to start offering them, then you can just have it added to your website. Then what they can do is customers can then actually download the terms and conditions, and they can select a plan that they want. For instance this one, and then they fill in their details and set up a direct debit. Reviews, so if you've got the expert trades package, the office package, when you send an invoice you can request reviews, which then you have to approve. Then they can get sort of tagged onto your website.
But it's the back end of stuff, which I find the most helpful. So you get completely unlimited support from the guys. Matt and his team, they're just always helpful. They're always on hand, you can either phone them up. I tend to phone them up or hassle them probably more than most, which I do apologise for. Hence why I get wrapped into doing these videos. But there is also an expert trades website customer support group. If you are a customer then you can join, and you just get instant feedback. So any sort of questions here, you'll get a response. Matt by the way is the website god, so yeah you get any sort of response, and you get helpful how to do it. Or if you're struggling to do it then they'll just do it for you. But the idea is they want you to learn really.
Yeah, every month you get something like this, in which case this, which is the website analytics. So you get an update as to how your website is performing. So you can see this month 411 users, 389 of them were new. There is actually a very smart little video by Matt that explains all of this, for the likes of me and you. Yeah so all in all I can't fault it. If you get a problem you contact them or they you know it gets sorted within days or even hours. So you know sort of yeah, really, I don't really know what else to say about it. It's faultless, you know what more do you want? A nice beautiful, swank website and if anything goes wrong, if you ever want to add anything then it is what it is.
