Review for Gripit 15mm Fixings by D Baker Carpentry

Having used these on plasterboard walls to fit various items I was pleasantly surprised on the load they can handle. The fittings vary in price so worth shopping around but the undercutting tool for size you are using is worth getting to remove dot and dab adhesive for easy fitting. Plugs can be removed by unscrewing the small wings to release and the correct size drill bit is essential to get a tight fit once wall marked out.

I think these are the bees knees. I first saw them in use with plumbers, putting radiators up on stud walls. I've now used them in several jobs where I cannot get a noggin or batten in behind the stud wall or ceiling plasterboard. There are a range of sizes and load bearing versions. Best bought in bulk online: small packages in wholesalers can be pricey.

These are really good fittings and have used them all the time. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Good product and great features as it comes in different sizes.

Extremely impressed with these, use them for mounting radiators on plasterboard walls, very easy to install and gives a very secure fix. I used to use the metal screw in type of fixings but these are much better.

Amazing fixings can be used for anything from installing radiators to stud walls to flat screen TVs, simple to install I would suggest getting a setting cutter to cut your groove on the inside of the plasterboard as you can come unstuck not being able to the fins fully out in some of the thicker plasterboard walls.

Excellent for fitting larger light fittings in boarded ceilings. Simple system, just drill and tap home, then push and twist to secure. By using the screws provided there is zero chance of screwing through cables.
