Review for GripIt 20mm Fixings by Keynston Services

I think these are the bees knees. I first saw them in use with plumbers, putting radiators up on stud walls. I've now used them in several jobs where I cannot get a noggin or batten in behind the stud wall or ceiling plasterboard. There are a range of sizes and load bearing versions. Best bought in bulk online: small packages in wholesalers can be pricey.

These are really good fittings and have used them all the time. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Good product and great features as it comes in different sizes.

I Needed a fixing for fixing 3 radiators to a plasterboard wall so got a set of these. They went in easy and the radiators are as securely held to the wall as good as if they had been put on a brick wall.

Great fixing to use when hanging radiators etc on plasterboard walls. Never had one let me down. Not the cheapest but worth the money for peace of mind

Amazing product. Used for kitchen cabinets to TVs. I would recommend this product to anyone, marked down for cost and limited to the pull strength of the board you're fixing to. So far I've had no issues and always use them for all kitchen fitting projects as well as others.

Amazing fixings can be used for anything from installing radiators to stud walls to flat screen TVs, simple to install I would suggest getting a setting cutter to cut your groove on the inside of the plasterboard as you can come unstuck not being able to the fins fully out in some of the thicker plasterboard walls.

Great product and easy to use. Various sizes depending on load. Have used for radiators. Only tthink they could be a little cheaper.

These are brilliant for handing radiators and I’ve had some 600x1800 double rads hold no problem at all.

Very easy to use and very secure. For hang radiators on plasterboard walls these are a must have. Just make a hole pop it into the plasterboard and the very cleaver wings on the back donthe rest. The screws supplied are only around 1inch long so if you are going though a thick piece of wood the screw suplied wouldn’t be long enough

Great fixings. I’ve fixed radiators to plasterboard walls with these and held no problem. Just check the screw heads aren’t to big for whatever you’re fixing.

After years of using CK croppers I was very kindly given these to review, I was dubious about how they would compare but I must say I only wished I had of come across them sooner!. Excellent for Cutting all types of cables and even cuts 25mm tails with ease. These shears leave a very clean and precise cut, and as with knives the build quality is second to none as usual. The only minor concern is they are slightly on the small side so once you get to the 25mm tails you need to use 2 hands to be able to open the jaw wide enough other than that they are spot on. If they become available in a larger size I think they would be ideal and will be purchasing a pair myself Would highly recommend them as part of your tool kit and are reasonably priced as well.

Great product, I have the multi purpose side cutter and the “first fix” cutters, nice to handle cut through most stuff I throw at them, had a faulty pair (fell apart) and was replaced with no hassle, good price highly recommended over other cutters

Once upon a tome used to be a good site, too many cowboys not being properly checked out and verified, too many customers expecting things done cheaply, they shortlist you and you get charged even if you can’t make contact.

Don’t normally do bad reviews, been with Checkatrade for a few years now, the idea is great but does requires a lot of back ground paperwork keeping reviews uptodate, if you don’t you fall lower down the list
