The diverter valve is a part that is only found on a combi boiler, which allows hot water to be directed to the taps in a hot water system or to the radiators in a central heating system. This is what makes a combi boiler different from normal boilers due to the fact that a cylinder is not needed to provide hot water to the central heating system and taps .
