Use this daily when onboard.. amazingly handy as it's small and often don't have to go and get any other tools to get small jobs done..I've never had the little ratchet slip either which is impressive considering the size. Wera always think outside the box..one thing to say is that the bits can be difficult to remove from the case...

Had this little gem of a kit for a good few years now. Really well built and a great handy little size to get in especially around the inside of a boiler. Never let me down. That why I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent little set its impressive for the range of bits/sockets that you get included. Then that you get a ratchet and a screwdriver. Its sometimes a little small to use especially the ratchet but other than that great set.

This is a great little 1/4 set of bits and sockets. It has a tiny ratchet handle which can withstand quite alot of torque. This little set has got me out the poo quite a few times where space is limited.

I find this kit very handy to have in my tool kit. I contains most of the bits I require for servicing boilers the mini ratchet bit holder is handy for getting into restricted places in boilers. I wouldn't be without it.

As a bit of a Wera tool rebel I recently purchased this set at a trade show. It wasn’t bought for a purpose it was more of a whim, wasn’t even sure if i would use it or even put in my service bag. Needless to say it’s very useful. It goes everywhere with me, I’ve used it on the bike’s and is in bag when we’re out on a ride or it’s in the car if we away. I’m even considering buying another set so I don’t have to remember where I’ve put it!

Picked this up along with some other wera tools at installer live. The quality is fantastic and everything is well thought out in the case. I have already used it for servicing gas boilers and repairs. Combing kits like this with a few others I no longer need to bring in my big tool box.

An excellent accompaniment to your service kit, great quality comes as standard with Wera. This kit contains most of the tools you require to help with a basic domestic service could just do with a couple of extra flat bit sizes and the ability to plug the ratchet into the screwdriver would be a great addition other than that well worth the price tag.

I must be honest, i love this set! firstly the look of it, it looks great, it screams quality then when you get into it and open up your pieces, sockets etc, very part of it feels robust and capable of doing what you need it to do! The stumpy screwdriver handy for those tight spaces, the ratchet with the 6 degree fine tooth mech is great for nipping up fittings. Only thing i would've done to improve the set is make an adaption to the back of the screwdriver so you can use the ratchet and screwdriver together to get that extra bit of torque. Otherwise - Go buy one now!

Hi. I'm Terry Burgin of Terry Burgin Plumbing and Heating Engineer. I'm a member of Expert Trades. Today, I'm doing a Tool Talk review.
Today, the tool I'm going to review is the Wera Tool-Check Plus. This is the first thing at my van on any job. It comes in my pocket. It sits on the front seat with me. Before I even take my tool bag into a job, this comes in with me first because nine times out of 10, I can investigate a problem with a boiler or with whatever I'm looking at with this. It is a mini socket set, and it comes with a little ratchet wrench in the top. It's got a little screwdriver on the side with all the bits that can go into it, that are all here. You get a good selection of bits, a lot of star heads and a lot of hex keys and quite a lot of Pozi Drive bits. It's a very, very good tool.
There are a couple of downsides to it. On mine, the screwdriver has come loose. It did have an extendable screwdriver bit in the top, but it's not very well secured. I've still got it, but I just don't dare leave it in case I lose it. They're a couple of downsides to it, but worth every penny. It is massive time saver. Six months I've had this now, actually I've had it a bit longer than that. I think about a year. As I say, I don't know how I did my job without one of those. I carried a lot of screwdrivers.
I'm Terry Burgin and I recommend the Wera Tool-Check Plus.

I bought the hilariously small pocket level, to use when fitting electrical backboxes and accessories. It’s been great for these uses, the magnet is very strong and it’s so small it’ll fit inside a standard UK single backbox. I paid about 6 quid for mine, and I flipping love it, even if it does get a few laughs on site.

Had a set of these for a couple of years and they’ve been great! Being stubby you don’t usually have much trouble drilling a nice straight hole when working up between joists or under floorboards. When they’re brand now the absolutely eat through timber. Quite expensive but reasonably hard wearing, they do say they are nail proof but I always try to avoid that as much as possible to prolong their life

These little hole saws are brilliant for drilling neat holes out in thin metals and plastic. I have been a long time user of starrett holesaws but when it comes to drilling out holes in trunking, boxes and panels I’ll 100% use on of these instead! Last a decent amount of time too so long as you look after them.

My favourite torque screwdriver set on the market right now, Wiha have done a great job in making the handle still feel ergonomic in the hand despite it being larger due to the fact it’s got the torque guts in it. Setting it is simple with the included tool, and I think it’s got the best torque range out of its competitors at 0.8nm to 5.0nm. Keep an eye out for deals on Amazon for this, it drops down to around £110 sometimes
