They are definitely on the chewer side but they do what they say, the quality isnt the best but if youre just a diyer then these might be perfect for you. But I wouldnt expect them to go far with heavy use

Black and decker are the cheaper range of power tools, if you are looking for a DIY tool for occasional use then these would suit you. I think that they are linked to de-Walt but if you can not justify spending over £150 for a decent power tool black and decker may be ideal for you

Cheap tools so you get what you pay for. I don't personally own alot of there tools due to these being more for your diyer not professional. I do own there mouse sander 240v and it does the job well, holds paper fine, dust extraction is rubbish tho. I do go through them tho (2/3 a year) but for the price for them i don't mind as you get what you pay for so "buy cheap by twice" is always my moto. So for someone using them the odd time they will be fine.

From my experience these tools are for a diyer not a professional they have a great product range of cheap and cheerful tools I would rather pay more for quality tools

Black & decker used to be my go too tools for durability &length of use.
but more manufacturers now on the market & producing battery operated tools which are just as reliable.

Great for DIY and ameteur level. Great trainee or apprentice level. I've used better at professional level. Easy to break on building sites so not very tough.

They are good tools but I find that they swop and change , bought a hand drill a little while ago , the battery has gone and they have changed the battery !! Why not be like other brands and use one battery ?l

Pay for what u get but if your just a diy then these are great for the price , even going onto lithium batteries now makes them last a little longer and a little lighter

Handy piece of kit for a beginning Diyer.
Pretty standard build quality, fairly inexpensive tools.
Don’t expect them to do what Makita/Dewalt/Milwaukee can do. But if you’re just sticking up a few shelves every now and then the combi drill does the trick.
