As always for Wiha this is a very well built and sturdy tool. Disappointed it doesn’t have auto shut off and a sounder. Also I noted that sometimes it appears too sensitive and lights up about 4” from the wire and other times it seems to struggle a little. It will always light up when very near a live wire so it’s not a safety issue it’s just I had a cheaper one that could detect a live wire through a plastic switch and this can’t. I do like this tool and will continue to use it day to day but I will likely replace it with a Fluke when I inevitably lose it or the apprentice borrows it and doesn’t put it back.

A absolute must have if you are wiring through conduit systems on your own! They make life a lot easier if you’re fat fingered. Only down side is the price you pay for them but anything that has vde on goes up 40% so it’s expected.

Spent the past few days with the Wiha Speede2. This screwdriver is literally a game changer. With 2 different torque settings of 0.4 Nm and 1.0 Nm, you have the ability to do up cable terminals and screw face plates up quickly with the knowledge you’re not damaging them.

Absolutely garbage. User error. Used on 5mm cable and the top blade snapped off and couldn’t change it. Build quality isn’t up to scratch as well. Would not recommend. Be a lot better if the blade were to pop out to change. I know it broke down to user error but it shouldn’t have broke that easy
