Fluke T5-600 Voltage Electrical tester

Great piece of kit I use this when I can not be bothered to unpack my multimeter. I like the ease of testing with this piece of equipment and usually a great price for what it is

Only recently moved over to fluke. Have to say I'm very impressed. Great but of kit when called out to those annoying element and stat breakdowns. Reliable and sturdy.

I have these and the t6-1000 they have the extra function of field sense which I've never use so my advice is go with the t5. They are lighter and a better shape. A great tester all round

Really well made tester. Had quite a few testers over the years and always went for the cheaper ones. But although these are quite expensive there definitely worth the money best testers I have had. So easy to use.

The non contact feature is useful over other brands also.

Great testers for everyday safe isolation and fault finding. No electrician should be without these.
Easy to use and navigate the settings, and has auto off function (which is great as the apprentice keeps leaving them switched on!!!!)
They bounce well, and brush it off ready for the next test.
Much better than the cheap alternatives.

The field sense mode both voltages and current must be displayed only current is displayed as i follows the instructions the question is why it wont work asbase in the instructions manual

The must have tester for electricians and plumbers, a good reliable bit of kit with a nice carry case to keep the tester protected

Good Quality Tester from Fluke a very reliable test equipment Manufacture, Robust solid construction with current measuring capability via the oven Jaw as well as the voltage measurement and continuity measurement via the test probes .

A good tester if all you want to check is voltage and current. Reistance readings range leave a lot to be disired. Also the leads are very short and cannot be replaced. Great build quality and reliability. As stated great for basic checks, but limited for more in depth fault finding.

I've had this one for about a year now and its perfect for test mains power and continuity ..I like the amp probe part aswell the field test part I've not used yet

Great tester for use on both AC and DC current. Slim prongs make it easy to get in many terminals. Easy to read the voltage on the digital screen as well as current. Fluke are the elite in test equipment.

Have both the t5-600 and t5-1000. Great testers and quite literally saved my life a number of times. I especially like the open ended tester as it is so easy to check current without fiddling with a tester or trying to get a clamp around a single conductor. Probes are very well built and take a lot of stick but still just as good as when purchased. Batteries last ages in these testers. Be sure to buy the Fluke holster, makes transporting and using so much easier.

Very easy to use well built as always from fluke . Great testers . Lightweight and easy to store great product . Dose the job price is decent not to bad .

Had these testers for a few years now. Definitely the best I’ve owned. Clear display and very easy to use. I would like it though if there was some sort of way to hold the extra probes as part of the holder.

Carry this is my pocket everyday for when I need it and it’s always coming out, it has plenty of functionality considering the small and compact size of the device. The fluke voltage indicators are way above the rest in the market.

Essential piece of kit for any electrician. This has helped me find so many cables and fix so many faults i doubt I'd be able to my job without it. Any electrical worth there salt will say the same!

I’ve been using these for over 10 years now and I cannot recommend these highly enough. If you are buying them you might be put off the price and go for a cheaper option or a different brand but you get what you pay for and I think you certainly get your money’s worth. I use these daily from checking immersion heaters to fault finding and the only time I’ve had to buy new is when someone has ‘Borrowed’ them.

Had these for 9 years. Used for basic power and continuity checks with the rare immersion ampage measurements. Solid unit and very easy to use! Auto off too so saves on the batteries!

Awesome piece of kit. Handy to use with auto off feature if you accidentally leave it on. Leads pack up nicely around the tester and in to the slots on the back so it's stored tidy in the carry case.

Bought this to replace my aged Dilog. Very happy with it and very easy to use. Like the continuity testing on it as well. Comes with extra probes as well

Used daily and the t5 is preety much bulletproof .......readings are really accurate and leads cheap to replace... .. never had any issues with mine wha yet

Used by almost every electrician on the planet. More durable than a Nokia 3310 and accurate readings until you somehow find a way to kill it (or more likely lose it).

I love my tester had 3 of them unfortunately I left one onsite and someone stole the other one but 3rd is going strong still love it wouldn't be with out it easy to use and not bad price for the money definitely Reccomend

I have had this type fluke meter for 15 years and it has always worked. It is very good bullet proof really! Very simple to use with auto AC / DC

Fantastic tester to have in the tool bag. Have it in my bag every day and can guarantee I use it everyday. Wouldn’t replace it with any other brand. Good price can’t complain

Perfect product for domestic and small scale commercial electrical installations. Simple to use but delivers all necessary functions, particularly useful for safe isolation purposes and circuit continuity checks.

This is always my go to tool for a bit of voltage testing, always in my tool bag, and has the added advantage of being able to quickly assess current too, fluke do make some quality products

The Fluke T5 - 600 is the only voltage tester I would use the dial is easy to use and self explanatory, the open jaw ammeter is very handy as you don’t have to move your live cable too much to take a reading and the probes fit nicely into the back of the case. Also the strong construction is super as many slips and drops have proved the tester is near indestructible!

I actually have the T5-1000 but same model brilliant for carrying around doing minor testing work and fault finding has loud sounder for continuity so helps a lot for fault finding in large buildings.

Great testers, they save carrying around multiple types of tester too. If you don't have these as an electrician are you really an electrician?

It's that good all of our electricians use one. Great piece of kit and can take a serious amount of battering, from dropping at height to being used as a hammer. Not one of fluke items have ever failed.

I have had my T5 600 for the past couple of years and have found it to be great. It's never missed a beat. I have however bought the new T6 1000 and see how that fares.

Love this Fluke tester. Have had it for years and has never let me down. So easy to use. I personally like the simplicity of it, it just has the functions I need on a daily basis. The quality is great too. Would highly recommend it.

As and Electrician in Wakefield I use voltage tester every day, the fluke T5 is in my opinion the best about, it is solid and reliable. I have unfortunately missed placed my set so I got the new T6 model with more features, however I prefer the size of the T5 so would recommend spending less and getting the older model. I bought this tester over 5 years ago and loved it for everyday use. It's handy belt pouch is great to keep your hands free to carry other tools.
It's accurate and passed calibration every year.
It's one of the best of its type on the market. (Not used the T6)

I’ve used a fluke multifunction tester for years and was in the market for a new voltage indicator, after reading lots of good reviews I decided to buy the T6. Cracking tester I’ve had lots over the years but the fluke has more functions and out performs the others by miles

After looking about and doing some research i settled on this tester it has been exactly what I wanted a combo tool which is still able to go in my tool box, and as its fluke its going to be sturdy high quality product.

That is my everyday tool. Easy to use by me and apprentice. Minimum options and maximum effect. I have Ts-600 and TS-1000 both of them are super good. I like to use amp meter to check if heating element or any other appliances. Very handy

I think this is the best voltmeter on the market I use this item on a daily basis as an electrician it’s is extremely easy to sue with thing prongs that can get into tight connections and I think the build quality is extremely good aswell very durable as I ha e dropped this many times without serious damage

Solid and reliable I really like it. I’ve got the 1000 one tho not the 600.

If you need to quickly check continuity or check voltage this is the tool. The amp clamp bit is handy as well if your checking load or anything. Unfortunately not quite good enuf for earth leakage tho but that is it’s only down side.

Battery lasts ages and it is solid. It been abaused by me and still keeps going

Top notch tester and part of my essential go to kit, I have had a few cheaper ones that have all failed pretty quick as this is essentially a daily use tool for an electrician & mostly lives in my tool bag. I would highly recommend spending the extra cash to get this one, buy cheap, buy twice...

Used this tester for years, thought I had lost recently so purchased a replacement, found four days later when emptying the vans in a place I had already checked four or five times. Little expensive but great bit of kit.

Had mine for about 5 years. The tester is faultless and never gave any false readings. Always trust a fluke tester.

Had this tester till I left in on the back of the van and drove off. Loved every minute with it. Just the right fit for your hand and the probe holder to make it easier the digital display had a good clear screen and even through a few scratches could be ready clearly the build is a sold plastic and takes a bashing.

Top notch testers. Not the cheapest but certainly worth it. I used this all the time until I had the van done over! Replaced with a crappy kewtech set that the suppliers had in stock.
