Hello. It's Peter here doing a Tool Talk review for Expert Trades.
This is a product that I use quite a lot, and have done for the last 10 years. It's the RS Quick Test Unit. They're very, very good for testing purposes. It just plugs into your normal socket if your light comes on, so there's no power on these terminals until the lid's closed.
For me, I find it's very good for the likes of this here rather than stamp wiring a plug top on; Just knock them in. Just knock them into the wee clamps. Put them down. And until it's clicked in, there's no power. And then there's just power again. No power on it there, whenever it's opened.
I find them very, very good, and I think they're maybe about 20-something pound. But it's good to have around the house for, you know, like testing extension leads and making sure they're working. Just anything with no plug on the end of it. And I like having one. I'll definitely be buying one for my own house whenever I get somewhere I can actually test things. But, that's the RS Quick Test. Good job. Just RS online.
