Metrel MI 3100 SE EUROTEST EASI
MI 3100 SE EurotestEASI is a fast, accurate and easy to use multifunctional measuring instrument which performs a complete set of installation safety tests according to IEC/EN 61557. Besides, the MI 3100 SE EurotestEASI enables on-line voltage monitoring, phase sequence testing and earth resistance measurement. EurotestEASI is equipped with integrated characteristics of fuses and RCDs for PASS / FAIL evaluation of test results. All the results can be quickly saved and referenced on the instrument and then downloaded via the EuroLink PRO software (included in the standard set) to the computer for evaluation and report generation after testing.

I have a much earlier version of this tester and it's only ever used on fault finding jobs I do really need to repair or replace it now. It needs buttons and a battery holderMy line of work has changed.

Nice little tester I used for about a month. Easy to use but does not have the simple functionality of other brands and the build quality just isn't quite up there good tester for a new starter or apprentice.

Have been using mine a number of years and never let me down. Easy to use once you work it out. I only use for minor works so not sure how it would be for a electrician.

Been using Metrel for many years now, much to the dismay of some of my trade friends. I have tried other testers but Metrel always come out on top. I never could get used to any two wire testers which ruled a few out but Metrel win hands down on design, features and most of all, every day user friendly operation. You can’t go wrong while testing, nice clear display makes the tester easy to use in all conditions and the balance when using the neck strap has yet to be topped by another tester in my opinion. The leads and test probes seem far more flexible than other brands which I found to be the biggest problem, especially when using them day in day out but Metrel leads never break down or give poor readings.

Like anything new it takes a bit of getting used to compared to the trusty megger. Primarily purchased this for EV installation work & as a second tester.

Terrible piece of equipment do not waste your time or money it will fail you. only positives are a mains chargeable battery, saves results and cheaper alternative than others on the market.

Great machine, easy to use and pretty robust, do find as not using all the time the rechargeable batteries do loose there charge whist stored

Are used to be a very good tester but the upgrades are so much better no auto RCD test although I have seen loads of people using 10 years down the line so they last

Good bit of kit used one of these for a while on a testing contract supplied by client to use, found it real easy to use, would be ideal for someone just starting in the trade.
Could be a bit more robust, and you have to remember to charge it up as can be a pain when your on testing and it runs low!
