Wiha VDE Torque Screwdriver Set 11 Pieces

Decent screwdrivers, not the cheapest torque screwdriver available but not the most expensive either. Not the most user friendly adjusting system but it work and is not difficult. I also like the shape of the Wiha handles.

Having started to undertake frequent electrical safety checks along with EV Charger installs I felt a torque screwdriver was an essential tool. Having shopped around I opted for the Wiha Torque driver set, though it was one of the more expensive options I looked at I felt confident in the build quality associated with the brand. I have not been disappointed. The tool feels well built and the torque adjustment though a little slow and bulky feels solid and concise. I feel confident in the driver adjusting the torque to what I have set it to. The case it arrives in and the bits are also strong and well built. I have recommended these to fellow electricians who have been really happy with them.

I have been using this now for about 6 months after purchasing it from my local wholesaler. I was looking at a cheaper alternative but this felt much more ergonomic than the other. It seems to work absolutely great the only very minor comment I would say is the adjustment tool could have been made slightly smaller or even a vario adaptor that fits in the standard screwdriver that comes with the kit.

I bought the wiha torque screwdriver at a trade fair. After being shown how easy it is to over torque mcbs etc.
The screwdriver is easy to set to the correct setting with the enclosed tool. Many different screwdriver heads are available for this so could potentially be used in other applications.
Granted it's not an everyday use tool for me, but I have some of the other wiha screwdrivers that the screwdriver heads fit into.

Brilliant piece of kit, I have been using for 6 months now and it has managed every task that it has been faced with. I am proud to say I have really challenged the terminal blade in a multitude of scenarios and it had beaten every one.

You do need to ensure it stays in the case as the bits are a pain to find once they fall into the tool bag and the torque can get dirt blocking the blade entry quite easily.

I've had this for about 3 years now and they are great for cu installation etc they stay in the box with my speede and slim vario bits and the stubby drive head

Lovely little kit, easy to use and the slim bits are second to none. I’ve had plenty of times that the usual coated vde is just too wide for the opening.

Easily adjusted from setting to setting and very well priced. I didn’t a fair amount of research before buying.
I much prefer the handle shape on the wera screwdrivers. But the functionality of the wiha won out in the end.

My favourite torque screwdriver set on the market right now, Wiha have done a great job in making the handle still feel ergonomic in the hand despite it being larger due to the fact it’s got the torque guts in it. Setting it is simple with the included tool, and I think it’s got the best torque range out of its competitors at 0.8nm to 5.0nm. Keep an eye out for deals on Amazon for this, it drops down to around £110 sometimes

Nice set of drivers, a must have for my Elecsa assessment. You always know the breakers are torqued to the correct setting.The additional screwdriver bits save having extra screwdrivers with you

Fantastic Torque screwdriver, really nice feel to the grip and great a quality build.
the only inconvenience is having to remove the blade to adjust the torque setting

All in all a good tool. Great for getting the manufacturer's reccomended torque on the terminals. I kept unlocking it after I'd changed the head. But haven't used much so possibly down to inexperience. It seems very accurate Small price to pay for a tool that will last

Feels well made, sturdyChanging bits is straight forward , adjusting the torque setting with the adapter is easily done with the display window.Simple enough tool to use, plenty of bits to choose from,easy adjustment of torque setting.The price is very reasonable considering the amount of different bits you get.

I was a bit dubious of the slimBit system at first but I have to say I like it now.
To change the torque setting is a bit of a pain as you have to remove the bit to do it, (other brands have a tool-less option), but is easy enough not to be a problem.
It feels good in the hand, so I like it.

The tips on the bits both snapped after a short period of use.Once the torque is set its easy to use however having to use a separate special tool to change the torque is quite annoying.The screwdriver itself is good the insert bits and changing the torque setting let's the product down. The screwdriver bit also falls out of the holderIt's product wasn't very expensive but does have its faults

This is the only torque screwdriver i’ve owned so cant compare to others had it 2 years with no problems, use it for consumer units and distribution boards only negative point is the fabric case would be far better in case like the SpeedE

Without a doubt my personal best tool. It has everything that you need right at hand with ease of access. I also find it great that I can hold a pair of small cutter in the wallet and have everything I need for small tasks. If there was anything I would suggest, it would be to add a small zip pocket for small consumables/accessories etc. All in all a great piece of kit.

This torque screw driver is a great bit of kit, does the job, and comes in a sturdy clear case to keep all the bits together, also does up to 5nm which is ample for a fuseboard

This really is the best torque screwdriver set out there! I debated between this one and the wera set and decided on this one as the torque range is much better (wera have 3 handles with varying limitations). The wiha works very well, feels good in hand and hasn't failed me yet!

I’ve had my torque set for around 5 years now. It really is essential on any consumer unit upgrade. It has a great torque range and selection of bits.

Wow! What a (work) life changer. I used to crawl around in a loft with 4 or 5 different normal sized screwdrivers in my holster pocket and have them get caught on things. Now I can crawl around with 1 driver and have more than 5 different driver bits in my pocket with ease! I have a Armeg torque driver and I have to say the Wiha torque driver is so much better. Smaller handle and a nicer fit in my hand.
I would love to see some glow in the dark driver bits for these as I really don’t want to loose any in a light restricted loft!

Firstly I'd like to say I have no regrets at all purchasing this torque screwdriver set. it does what it says. is nice and comfortable in the hand and the slim bits are good and have not broken on me. I do have two points to mention and that is the original shank that was supplied was build totally out of plastic which did snap on me. my replacement however was metal inside so I'm assuming this has been improved. The other point is that there is the need to use a tool to ajust the torque setting where other brands have a much simpler twist of the driver itself to ajust. otherwise very good product

god send !! makes testing much easier , without having a pocket full of drivers !
and handy when just popping in to look at a fault or replace a switch or socket .

Great torque driver gets used everyday. Very easy to adjust the settings. Had mine a couple of years now and haven’t broke anything which is a rarity

By a long way the best torque screwdriver I have used, has a nice weight to it and super easy to adjust. The torque checker is a great accessory

I’ve had this set to get the right toque on a the main switch and MCB on a consumer unit. Found it a bit pricey but never had a problem with them I bought my set from Yesss electrical

easy to use and love the way you dont need a tool bag,its an all in one tool great piece of kit,I've used these a long time about 10 years same kit,I've had to renew one piece and that's because I lost it,its the terminal piece,ordered another no problem

Great bit of kit. As usual, the comfort and build quality Wiha tool have, this one is up there with the rest of them. It is easy to set up and change the torque value and when your not torquing up consumer units, just pop the interchangable blades into the normal handle from everyday screwdriving.

Got this set as every electrical installation requires torque settings it seems these days. Great bit of kit love it just wish you could the individual blades separately?

Really good set of drivers. Nice easy interchange of heads and simple to use torque settings. However I did find it a little odd that there is not any MCB pozi head driver heads when this is the main bonus of using this driver set. Surely this should be part of a kit made for tightening MCBs etc.

Very good but if kit. Handy to carry about when popping in to check on jobs or inspect etc. Bit pricey but simple to use and usual quality from Wera.

I have the re branded Schneider version of this Vario torque, nice and easy to adjust, plenty of range, easy compliance with regs and lots of extra bits available.

Very good screwdriver set, with all the different heads, good build and comfortable in hand, make sure to use manufacturers torque settings on mcbs

Nice set of screwdrivers, but do have a tendency to fall out after a while. also the torque screwdriver is very hard to see the torque setting.

What can I say we absolutely love this set it’s very sleek in design.
And comes in a perfect carry case
The options are extensive a screwdriver for all occasions.

great set its just a shame about the price!! apart from that its great, it would be good to have bit more choice on the torque settings as some things spec a setting which is between two of the settings you can use

I am a fan of German tools. Before Wiha I was using Wera. Till today. I wass using torque screwdriver for MCB setting and Wera disappoints me. From those two - only Wiha can be set to 3.2Nm. With torque range between 0.8 and 5.0 Nm you coverd to all MCB’s manufactures.

Great value for money yet the small terminal screw driver is utter shi*. Keep mine in the testing kit and use it daily the interchangeable heeds are great and robust

First value for money, fantastic, I won it so can't knock that. Although I wouldn't pay £120 for this set as I have seen it priced mainly because I don't use it fully. The screwdriver bit is well built and feels sturdy, its easy to change over the heads and they bite even hard to get screws well, the problem is the torque setter. I have no use for it. I won't knock it on the rating as I feel it would be harsh. I'm sure if you have a use for the extra bits it would become an invaluable tool as for me I will just keep using it as I am. It's not going to waste.
