Very good tools for the money in my opinion they have a wide range of tools that cover almost every trade, very good and reliable cheap alternatives.

Purchased a jump starter never worked from day 1 they said they would get it collected never happened now they are ignoring me I would recommend you shop around and not purchase the rubbish draper tools sell

I bought three Draper devices, a power drill, Nail gun and circular saw all cordless. i normally only buy Bosch. i am really happy with my purchase they are very well made and feel strong and powerful. I replaced a Bathroom floor cutting laying joists and floor board they worked out really well. Very happy and I will buy more in the future.

All I used to use as a Machanic, they were cheap and reliable and most people stocked them. I would recommend them as a great manufacturer of tools for anybody on a tight budget.

Good solid brand, best for entry level or DIY level. They are a good price and a great back up tool to a professional tool if available. If professional though their are better brands out they to be your staple.

Bought a few hand tools since they were affordable and without knowing much about their quality. They have been quite good so far and I would buy from them again. Large range too. I can not say much about their power tools as I have never used them and do not intend to but hand tools I defo would.

Angle Grinder is a good, convenient light weight little machine. Its one drawback is a switch which is surprisingly difficult operate and which often jams in the on postion.

Brought a socket set of Draper tools, I didn’t know much about the brand and how good and how long they would last, but they have been great still going strong no problems

When I first started out I purchased sum socket sets and sum other hand tools and for the price can't fault them although I have used and purchased a lot better quality tools the are by for wort he mony

Bought a socket set from Draper years ago. It was a heavy duty set and it’s still going strong, I have used it on cars, motorcycles and all the anchors I have installed for decking and build summerhouse’s with this set. Still going strong.

Draper proves you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg. The products available are good quality and long lasting even for professional use. For DIY use they will last a lifetime.

I use a lot of draper tools great value for price as not used everyday so not worth paying a fortune for what I use would recommend ideal basics for non every day use

These are good tools and good for any starter or setup in any trade or building industry. Ive got a few drapper tools. They good quality and value for money but as you learn more you move on to better tools.

I started out with mostly draper hand tools and slowly as I break or loose them I upgrade. It’s surprising how many draper individuals are still hanging in there either because I have spent elsewhere or they just haven’t broken.

You cannot go wrong using draper as a start and you never know it may be you first and last of certain tools.

My ratchets all failed eventually but I was still satisfied with them generally

Some tools lack ergonomics and can be hard on the hands

The draper hand tools are perfect to get you into a trade, slightly cheaper than the common brands but quality does dip, however more than ample to get you started as an apprentice. Cheap and cheerful brand but wouldn’t buy for long term purposes

Draper tools are good for a beginner an apprentice or someone who wants to do DIY around the house. I wouldn’t use these on a building site as I don’t think the bill quality of the tools are as good as the top brands. If you need to get out of trouble because you don’t have a particular tool and you buy Draper it will do its job. Thanks

Draper tools are ok as a cheap diy tools, very good basic hand tools, pliers and screwdrivers.
Draper are a long established company and have been making tools for a long time

Good range of tools and at decent price the quality is not to bad but if you by the draper expert range I've noticed the quality is a little bit better. Got a few of there socket sets and they seem to do the job but obviously not same quality as snap on or teng tools but decent for the price you pay

A great range of products for people who don't want to spend big money but want a quality tool. The mitre saw I have is a great piece of equipment although I opted to upgrade the original blade.

Used to be very good but recent years they seem to be abit light weight in their quality , maybe that can be sorted in the future , overall it’s not to bad used for years

These used to be an excellent brand but recently some stuff to be really ropey and a lots of knockoffs stuff with this brand name on them so I kind of avoid them The only time I do buy is if I find it cheap on the car boot sale and I know it’s old but you still tend to be okay…!

Draper expert 110v 2mm planer.
I bought this planer for 1 reason and 1 reason only. Price. This was 4 years ago now when after my bosch planer was stolen from my van i needed a 110v replacement fast and with limited funds i puchaced this as a stop gap for well under £50. The machine is still going strong and I'm only considering upgrading now as im tired of carrying a transformer everywhere with me so making the move to battery power. The tool itself does exactly what it needs to, no frills, depth gauge a little stiff, but does the job. Definitely worth the money

I have draper storm 10.8 volt power tools and they arent bad for the money. Ive an impact driver, a combi drill and a recipricating saw. They do fine for lighter work but the battery life is kinda short as you'd probably expect for the wee 2ah battery.
Ive had lots of draper handtools over the years and they are by and large ok.

Brilliant brand with great tools wouldn’t use anything else. They don’t feel cheap, would be lost without these tools everyday. Great value for money with massive savings to be found. Customer support is 10/10 emails answered quick and efficiently!

These are really DIY tools. No rubbish but not for everyday use. You can definitely see the difference between these tools and the likes of dewalt or makita. Basically you get what you pay for

We have many draper sockets sets. They have a large range of sockets that are well built and the ratchets are reliable. Would recommend to anyone

To me draper tools is for more of a DIY er that someone in the trade OK products to use now and then but for everyday use I don't think they are up to scratch. Good for a staring off tool kit

Really good all round products my college used them back when I was in training and I liked them a lot good quality but not as good as other power tool brands

Draper hand tools are reasonable quality for handy diy jobs I struggle sometimes with them on a day to day basis compared to a more renowned brand where as some of the power tools can give their likes of dewalt and metabo a run for their money

I have a load of Draper tools in my toolkit. The high torque impact sockets I own have had several years of hard usage without any breakages. I can't really say with authority if their customer service is good, bad or indifferent as I've never had cause to use them which is only a good thing in my mind.

Wide range of basic more entry level hand tools, great for beginners and DIY enthusiast, cheap tools that help get the job done, don’t last asking as some competitors

I’ve a few tools from draper and they are decent for what u pay . The Best Buy was their grinder it’s powerful and cuts what I need it to . Prices of draper tools reflects in there quality . Not to expensive or the quality of product u will receive from them

From the Draper tools I have so far they all work very well and I have yet to find a problem with them. My 3/8 Draper socket set is very high quality and also comes in a strong case.

Mostly had just few draper tools for engineering. They are fairly new so time will tell. The equipment seems well built but I believe alot the stuff is similar or exact same but rebranded to other named machinery. Happy with my tools so far.

Bought an 18v Combi Drill on sale from Screwfix a few years ago and it is an absolute power house still going strong. The case isn’t doing all that well one of the latches fell off and it doesn’t close properly anymore but that’s about the only negative I have

Great value for money for a good quality tool. Would recommended without hesitation. Need more characters not sure what else I can say about a screwdriver

Not always the best quality but I never have problems. They are really good value for money on a wide range of tools and are good for anyone starting out

Got a set of stud extraction bits, great quality product. They have a wide selection of bits, between 3mm to 8mm extractors in the pack. Price wasn't to expensive either.

I find draper tools very heavy for every day use and they don’t feel to nice in the hands for Professional use for domestic use they will be perfect and no lasting indoors.

I've got nothing bad to say about them, good quality items at a very good price. I've always regarded Draper as something between really cheap rubbish stuff and really good stuff. Good value for money at least in my limited experience.

I’ve found Draper a bit ‘hit and miss’. They aren’t my ‘go to’ brand for a tool but I do have various hand tools that are adequate for their purpose. I now avoid their power tools following several disappointments and I tend to favour dewalt or makita.

Draper is really as cheap as they come would recommend to any beginner or aprentic they offer a wid range of product at pretty much peanut prices!

Spanner set very cost effective looks good and comes In a handy little rack they have a nice finish to them and should last a fairly long time

Draper is a decent brand, depending what you buy they have a wide range of items from poor quality one use type items to some actual good quailty items that will last years.

Especially elora tools amazing.

Bought some draper screwdrivers and to be honest they weren't very good to say the least the ends snapped very quickly and didn't feel up to the job, I am yet to use anything else made by draper but can't say I ever will.

Bought several items from draper. VDE pliers set of 3 was good didn't expect it to come in a case they were a but small but does the job and bought a longer nose pliers and set of 3 stubby screwdrivers good value for money not tested them out yes but will do!

As i used before i like them and not expensive . I just use s well another mark , as small tools like screwdriver, i like to use draper tools.

I recently purchased Draper Allan keys
Nice package and colour coded to size and a compact holder product was great until recently 1 or 2 of the keys I’ve noticed have started to round and slip in the bolts

Good quality tools. good prices, vast selection. Being a mechanical engineer. Always a random tool needed to get the job done. Have been using since an apprentice and will continue to do so going forward!

A seemingly limitless range of products available. Not always the best quality across the range, but the VDE screwdrivers with interchangeable blades are great quality for the price.

Great for little hand tool but like screwdrivers and pliers just odd bits that you can use and abuse and decent quality for the price would buy again and recommend

There isn’t a tool out there that doesn’t have a Draper equivalent.
However the quality is severely lacking in a lot of the range.
If you are wanting something you aren’t sure will benefit in the long ,run for instance a track saw, then it’s a cheap alternative.
But don’t expect the quality of the larger brands.

I found that the spanner set I brought was very good, however rather expensive for the product that I got. Spanners are well made, however the finish on some of them was not up to the standard I was expecting

Draper tools not bad quality for the price that you pay i have a few of there screwdrivers and at such a price that if you lose one it doesn't matter as they are cheap enough to replace

Got a few pieces of draper kit and think they’re good quality for a good price, can’t fault any of the tools I have. Cheaper than some brands and it reflects as they’re not quite as good quality, but for a beginner or DIYer they’re great.

I have loads of tools from draper and I find they are good quality for a very reasonable price I have never had an issue with the tools and they are great to have on messy jobs where I don’t want to get my expensive tools full of mud grease and other rubbish

i gave worked in the motor trade for over 20 years now and have had plenty of makes of tools, one of witch is draper. there tools are well nade and do excellent what it says on the tin.

I have tried several draper tools over the years and they are definitely diy standard. Nothing wrong with that as they are usually cheaper than many.

Good range of products at a cheap price but they don’t last as long as other more expensive brands but I usually lose the tools before I break them. Definitely recommended

Although a more budget tool the few pieces I have owned have been well made and durable. The security bit set arrived with a few misshapen bits but this was quickly rectified and replacements sent.

Used many of these tools over the years and ok for home use but wouldn’t recommend using on site as had many failures when using the spanner range when exerting heavy pressure tightening nuts & bolts so in my opinion would only recommend for home use. At the end of the day these are a great budget range and would suit the average home diy’er with small projects.

I've got only two Draper brand items (file set and soft jaws for a vice) so not really an extensive experience. I've got nothing bad to say about them, good quality items at a very good price. Draper tools are decent no nonsense tools, not the best but not the worst. what they are is reliable reasonable prices tools. I use them for 1 off tools that I rarely use as oppose to my daily tools.

Just disappointed....So I have given draper an opportunity on a number of occasions most recently with a wet and dry vac. I was impressed with the performance initially but in less than a week a wheel fell off!!

Draper being the cheaper of tools. But a quality product. Found them to be reliable and very reasonably priced tool. Budget to suit everyone's pocket.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the greatest experience with Draper tools, more recently I needed a small torque wrench to tighten up nuts in a panel, I correctly set the tool to the specifications needed but when carrying out the task I stopped because something didn’t feel right, I tested the settings on a nut and bolt in a vice and didn’t get the audible click from the wrench, if I carried out the task I would have damaged the unit, I took it back to the place of purchase and I got a full refund!

Good priced tools, i own the a 1/2 inch drive socket set, owned it for over 15 years and only recently just broke 3 sockets and the ratchet. Used mainly on cars. Not a top end brand but still a decent brand for the price of there tools.

Value for money is excellent with draper. However, it is a budget brand and is best for DIY use. It can be used in a professional setting hut there are much nicer tools out there that will last much longer, admittedly as the higher price tag.

Great products for home improvements as very cheap and readily available but quality isn’t great if using on a regular basis so would buy a better tool if using often

This may be a biased review as I’ve only purchased a limited selection of Draper Pro tools but my experience has been that they are more appropriate as a DIY range (albeit at the top end of DIY).
I’ve used a splitting axe from them for home use from time to time which is perfectly adequate for my needs and super cheap but my experience with tools I use daily such as their cable rods and hammers is extremely poor.
My 10pc set of cable rods had 3 break (snapped thread or along the rod shaft) doing their very first task which was extremely mundane running cable under loft flooring. Only ever bent at a maximum of 45°.
The hammer started to warp and deform after a few weeks of typical tasks and the odd bit of abuse which is honestly what they’re for.
I’m sure this would be a good brand for emergency tools as I have a security bit set that I’ve yet to use from them and will pay for itself in one call out.
But in my experience I wouldn’t rely on them for every day professional use.

I own a few draper tools but my most used is the cordless heat gun, probably not ideal for painters etc but for my with heat shrink label and tube, it’s a very handy tool

Draper have a great variety of power tools and hond tools for the building trade and at a great price range for everyone and some great products

I have a set of Draper screwdrivers very well made strong shafts and blades I have not damaged one yet hand screwing in to wood or raw plug the handle is well designed to fit your hand to aid grip over all a well made set of screwdrivers

Draper tools have a wide range of tools at quiet low prices for the quality of the products. Every tool I’ve used from draper has done exactly what it says on the tin and has never failed. Well worth buying.

I have the mini storm Force 10.8v drill and it's great for using as a screwdriver I keeping in my main toolbag. it is also powerful enough for light drilling.

Bought draper tools 1m rod set x 10 as my c.k rods had seen the end of there day after 3 years service.
I used the rods to pull 1 x 2.5mm twin and earth cable up through a cavity wall with insulation in.
The brass ends slipped off the rod with very little force.
3 rods later and over an hour wasted on a job that I should of been leaving I decided to use my old c.k rods taped together...
Wont use again and haven’t had time to go back and get a refund but I will..

This is a great product from a great company, it’s easy to use and with great instructions you cannot go wrong. They have a great customer service that can help you through any issues.

Purchased Drapers 1400w paddle mixer about 2 months ago. Having used it for about a week to mixer plaster the mixer went off on its own accord. Had to disconnect it by the plug and on initial inspection appears to have been a fault with the switch over heating and fusing together the live and neutral.

Went down the usual route of sending it back to the manufacturer for inspection. After a number of failed attempts to pick up the paddle mixer it was eventually sent back.

I am still waiting to hear a response back from Drapers with regards to the paddle mixer and have chased them up a number of times.

I've ended up buying an alternative paddle mixer without any issues and I have had no refund or feedback with regards to my purchase.

Draper is a well established brand. I’ve still got some hand tools I purchased over 30years ago. They’re still going strong. They’ve never been over priced but a good quality,reliable hard wearing range of products.

Had various Draper tools over the years, kept the spanner’s and sockets sets but now tend to buy Rothernberger stuff now, ok when starting out and need reasonably priced tools, but they do have a limited life span.

Had a couple of draper bits over the years but tend to avoid them when buying new. They do the job and very cheap but the quality isn’t there and don’t last. Great for diy maybe but they wont last on the job using them day to day

Had loads Draper bits over the years yes it’s not all brilliant stuff but think it’s value for money and definitely replace things like pliers, spanners, tape measures all fairly

Love these tools. Quality craftsmen ship and loads of different options for those jobs that have saved me a lot of time.

All there tools are good, used these when I first started out as they were all I could afford, they worked well and lasted me years, and I still have them, I would be more then happy to recommend any of there tools

I bought some draper tools for the apprentice and I think that is probably the highest level they would suit. DIY yes, apprentice yes, professional tradesman no. You need something more robust such as Bahco or Rothenberger

Cheep tools and it shows in the quality.

For a cheep tool there probably top if the cheep pile but unfortunately for trade professionals I don't think there the right brand. There for posh diy-ers

Had a few drapper tools over the years some are ok do the job fine others not so, power tools are a bit on the weak side no where near the big brands! But the hand tools are fine, pretty well made very reasonable prices.

I have a few draper bits in my tool box. They are cost effective and last well. Well built and functional never let me down

Draper is the KNIPEX distributor for the UK, Knipex are just quality, VDE tools are quality and their chrome flat faced adjustable wrenches are the best in the world
