I’ve installed roof lights from another well known brand and I have to say Fakro are a decent alternative. Easy to fit and they look just as good once they are installed.

Looking for a roof window then Fakro are a brand to choose easy to install handle at the bottom rather than the top good quality and price is a lot better than the brand we all associate with roof windows

I find the fakro gear ok, that’s about it, if the customers budget can stretch beyond the competitors have superior products, if the budgets tight , Fakro does the job.

I’ve only ever used fakro products once. An I found. They weren’t easy to fit. There build quality was poor. There are better products on the market.

Installed a couple of the centre pivot windows in an extension, windows and flashing kits where well made and easy to install, much cheaper than Velux for a very similar product

I had a renovated attic apartment in downtown Naples that had 12 Fakro skylights with remote controlled electronic blinds and opening and close with rain censor. Worst products ever, half the time they won’t work closing or opening or the blinds get stuck and super noisy. Makes matters worse Fakro and the builder blame each other which leaves me out in the cold. Don’t buy Fakro go with Velux or you will regret it.
