Footprint

I have 9” and 7” footprint grips that are 40 years old, they are well worn but still going strong, I got a larger set about 10 years ago and the quality is still there, I also have a couple of cold chisels and some old wood chisels, the quality of the Footprint tools I have is great, the footprint grips are a good addition to any plumbers, heating engineers, gas engineers or general maintenance kit. Wouldn’t be without them

Got give a foot print grips by my dad, still using them today, great product great construction and highly recommended for use in steel and engineering industry.

I have been in the trade over 20 years and Can’t fault the footprint line pins. They are the only ones I will use.
The footprint bolster is really well made also

Had a look at the brands in this app and Footprint is one I wanted to review. Like the fact it’s al British made. Proper quality and good service.

Always a pair of footprints in my tool box , have numerous pairs to hand having misplaced them and replaced them only to find other pair not long after ,

Remember my dad always using these and I’ve still got the 2 pairs of grips he gave me, simple design that works and has stood the test of time.

Footprint has to be the best. Since serving my time and first coming across footprints in college you know the gland plier type of things I haven't found a product that performs better than these for holding and tightening conduit without slipping and gouging the surface. Absolutely suberb.

Some of my first tools were Footprint still have my pipe wrenches and bolster chisel
Bit rusty now but still work as well as they ever did some what neglected now but keep them for sentimental reasons

Genuine British Made tools. I was fortunate enough to visit the factory to see chisels forged by hand and heat treated by the skill of the craftsmen. Still export worldwide. I have grips and chisels from when I was an apprentice. I recently got a pair of the small grips, they work just as well as ever and I have no reason to think they wont see my time out in the business! Shame they only have a limited range but they plan to increase this.

So footprints have to be the oldest grips I own I also have my 1sr pair my dad handed down to be do at least 40yrs old and still going strong

Footprints every plumber should own a pair.
I've had mine from an apprentice. Never broke. I only gave 3 star for customer service as I have never had to deal with them. Only ever seen two products in their range normal footprints tiny footprints. They now have an adjustable wheel as appose to the bolt in mine. But I can't crumble at the price 28 years still going strong.
