HiKOKI
With effect from October 2018, the Hitachi brand became a new brand known as HiKOKI.
Hitachi was established in 1910 and has delivered over a century of product innovation since the company developed its very first product - a compact electric motor.
As a global leader in brushless motor and lithium-ion battery development, Hitachi revolutionised the cordless tool platform that more and more tradesmen rely on day in, day out.
The change in brand is part of a strategy to grow the company worldwide, by delivering significantly more innovation and a wider range of products. Only the name changes on the side of existing models. The tools themselves won't change and all spare parts will still be available.
The "Hi" in the "HiKOKI" brand name refers to their "highly innovative technologies" and embodies their commitment to high reliability.

I have most of the hikoki 18v and 36v range for Carpentry i had a first fix gassless nailgun which is one of the best on the market worked perfectly until about 7 months in and my first nailgun started clicking and spitting nails out randomly which is quite dangerous so I thought I must of bought the odd one that was faulty .I have sent 3 or 4 emails to try sort out the warranty and have been on the phone to hikoki repairs twice which both times I was on hold for nearly 2 hours with no answer so gave up. I bought another nailgun (barebody) as I need it for my line of work and within 8 months it won't turn on and now I'm going through the same again trying to email filling In warranty claim forms with no replay and hour and hours on the phone to get no answer and now I'm starting to regret getting any of there tools as the customer service is just not there I carnt say its good or bad because iv never spoke to anyone so now I'm stuck do I buy another barebody or just cut my losses and change brands.i have nearly 10 batteries and all other tools are hikoki and they work perfectly when there going which is a shame as I would keep buying if I could get a answer or at least a email saying to send it in for repair.

I have a Hikoki router this is my second one as the first gave up on me after a couple of years of very heavy use. I bought a second as value for money was great. Good power and accuracy

Have on of there corded sds hammer drills. Been very reliable and take a lot of abuse. Will take a 26mm drill bit without any issues. In fact the only problem I have had is it snapped the drill bit shank. But that is more about the bit then the drill.

Bought the srs battery drill in emergency one day. Seemed best value for what it was. Has very nice power and the batteries fit my hitachi and brought my favorite drill back to life. I plan now to buy more from the brand when other tools die

I have a first fix nail gun, great value for money
Just couldn’t justify the cost of a paslode.
I have used a paslode before and the Hikoki version is just as good
