Decent boilers in recent years. Few problems but get that with every make of boiler. Saved themselves from the isar/icons range and now is one of my go to boilers

This manufacture has definitely improved over the last 6 years ... the ideal esprit Eco 2 condensing boiler is an amazingly priced boiler package to include flue Magnaclean filter and 5 years manufactures warranty .... can’t go wrong for a cheap alternative.

5 star instantly for their RJ45 pass through connections!

Theses are probably as good a boiler as others on the market , they are easy to fit and maintain there has been an ongoing problem with there sumps but hopefully they’ll get it sorted ASAP

These are my go to boiler.
Great value for money and are a great product. they have a great warranty on all there boilers.
there customer service is great especially there techincal team.

In my personal opinion it is a medium range boiler, with a few common faults. Bad experience with customer service. It is easy to install and service.

New boiler fitted 3 months ago and is a vast improvement over our last one which for its day was great (20 years ago). Absolute simplicity to open for servicing. Very well constructed built from the finest materials. As art looking appliance that would not look out of place in any setting.

Love ideal boilers , have been fitting them for 10 years. The only negative I can think of is the price increase each year. Wonder if there is a new style boiler coming out in the future. Not like there’s anything wrong with the existing models

Love love love the commercial boilers for ideal. Though the PCB can be a bit temperamental the reps will help you out as much as possible. Recently had a rep get an ideal engineer out to source a part that should of been in the pcb but wasn’t pulling us out of trouble

Been fitting logic and Logic, plus, Max so easy to install set up and commission, easy to register and any issues the customer service help line is second to none no matter how minor

Great boilers but prices may need to be looked at to compare to rivals. Spoke to customer service and they were more than helpful and arranged everything there end to get customer seen to as soon as possible.

Can’t fault them only boiler we fit easy to install superb warranty customer service is sound most cases come out same day if there ever was a problem they will sort it. Servicing and working on all of there boilers is a pleasure and I honestly can’t fault them

Had a problem with our boiler few weeks ago got straight on the phone and had a really pleasant experience from start to finish. Helpline were great and technician was spot on

Where do I start, well back in 2018 I installed a ideal and ideal boiler for my neighbour and the customer service was shocking.
The rep was useless and did not help one bit with the issues we had.
I have reluctantly fitted 2 more of them as the customers wanted an ideal, I just hope I never have to call them out

Good boiler for the money, the new Halo smart controls are nice and have a quality feel, much better than the Touch. Good warranty. I would always recommend an Ideal if customer doesn’t have the budget to stretch to a Worcester

Nice boilers for the money. The main problem is blocking the condensation pipes. Easy and quick to service. Boilers are a bit noisy compared to other brands

Great boilers. With amazing warranty up to 12yrs on the vouge max. Customer service is 5 star friendly and help full. would highly recommend this great boiler manufacturer and put them way above worcester bosch

Ideal boilers are at the top of their game. Great boilers with great efficiency. Reliable and easy installation. Ideal had tested these boilers for two years before letting them out on the market. Best boilers out there in my opinion.

They look nice on the outside but are absolutely crap boilers in my opinion. The last decent boiler they made was the ideal Classic. On the flip side 1/3 of my work is repairing them from the most common problems the cracked sump, Venturi whistling and fan and gas valve issues. I would not personally recommend them to install for one of my customers

Great boilers for the cost. Have not found any issues with the boilers I have installed from ideal and they do last a long time. Have found their customer service and rep's to be excellent when I have spoken to them.

Best boiler brand by far. No other manufacturer offers as good of a product range to offer to your customers. From the Instinct to the Vogue Max they have your needs fully covered

Love Ideal boilers especially the Logic Max Combi. Pure simple to install and easy to use have been fitting these more often than Vaillants or Worcesters due to price for customers. Cant fault them

I had an Ideal Logic+ Combi C 30 installed in February 2016 , so coming up for 5 years. I have been exceptionally pleased with the reliability and performance of my boiler. No problems at all. Have recommended to family and friends.

Boilers have come a long way from there past combi boilers. Fitted hundreds of these through the range and had next to no issues. On the odd occasion customer services had an engineer out to resolve issue next day

Low to mid range boiler in my opinion. A lot of logics seem to be having issues with noise from forums that I have seen. Boiler quality does not look as good as Baxi but a very popular boiler by a lot of gas engineers. This could be due to price???

Nice to cheap products for landlords but they do have their faults with the heat engine that isn’t a cheap part to replace. And come with short warranty’s

absolutely fantastic boilers and customer service, I never have a fault with them and I install between 60 to 100 per year. The ideal vogue max is a superb bit of kit

Changed a lot since the the real rubbish they pumped out post condensing . Icos isar etc . The new ones have a nice feel, the real budget stuff I’ve seen changed after 2 years for leaking heat exchangers, warranty expired .. tough

I fit the ideal vogue, it is a great boiler I've fitted more than 100 and only had a few minor issues, I had one yesterday that wasnt working correctly so I called my local rep about 2.00 yesterday and someone was at the house by 9.00 today to rectify the issue.

Ideal have a good range of products that are straight forward to install, easy to take apart to fully service and maintain whilst boiler (Logic heat) is no bigger than a Standard kitchen cupboard

Absolutely no qualms about recommending Ideal boilers. We install them regularly without issue. Customer feedback is positive, customer service is easy to deal with and accessible.

I have very impressed with ideal boilers after the problems they had with the Isar and Icos. The vogue and logic range really are up there with the major brands in the market place. They have invested heavily in training and customer service and branding and it shows. Glad to be installing them in my business.

Good boilers but do have there faults which I think they need to own up and repair them like the sumps! I like there boilers easy to fit and not bad quality the website easy to use way to registers boiler just need to own up on there faults!!

Fitted yet another one of these yesterday, the Logic Max 24c, which comes with a 10 year warranty straight out of the box.
Personally, I love these, and think they're great. They're always what I recommend to a customer, before anything else. They're lightweight (relatively speaking), and super easy to install. Built in filling link, nice bit of space on the underside of the boiler for when you're tightening up the nuts during install, and now that it comes with its own filter... what else could you ask for? Also, when fitted with the Ideal Touch, my job just couldn't get any easier.

Recently fitted a logic max with 10yr warranty and ideal filter. Brilliant boiler very easy to wire up controls to, probably the easiest boiler to wire up aswell. Will be recommending more of these boilers from now on

Fitted hundreds of Ideals over the years, mainly Logics which I have personally never had problems with.
Vogue is a great boiler! One I highly recommend all the time. Size, visual and performance is great and up there as one of the best!

Good mid range boilers - we fit lots of these for customers who need a good value for money boiler. Happy with the quality and value for money product.

Overall a great range of boiler unfortunately can’t give full 5* with the common problem of the leaking sump on the logic but for me the the vogue is the best boiler out there with the ease of installing and maintaining stainless steel heat exchanger and digital display at a lower price than other top end manufacturers prices and also good kickbacks on installer connect which is also a good app

Cheap build quality plastic cheap parts various leaking parts .
We refuse to install or even work on ideal boilers now. Warranty promises worthless.

I have fitted ideal boilers for years, customer service is good, value of boiler is good , and there aftersales is yet to be beat from any other manufacturer

Good build quality for the money, adequate delivery of hot water and easy to adjust dials for the end user.
They have come a long way since the icos/isar.

Brilliant boilers excellent back up service from the company .I install about 50 a year of the logics and about 30 of the vogues.
Easy to use easy to install .value for money is second to none

I work on alot of commercial boilers. In the commercial sector I think these are one of the best brands about. Built to last. I'm a fat. I hear afew engineers moaning about domestic boilers. But my review is strictly on commercial. These are what I recommend.

Virtually throw away Boilers, came across 2 split main heat exchangers in the last year alone as well as a split condensation/sump tray which also requires the removal of the main heat ex (not my installations) I’ve lost count of the amount of PCB’s on the old issue/icos.

Fitted many logic+ great product for installation servicing and breakdowns very easy to work on great build would highly recommended

I've been installing Ideal commercial boilers over the last 5 years and I think they're excellent boilers and well priced.

Customer service is great they are always helpful,
Ideal make very good quality boilers for reasonable prices.
They do all different kinds including system boiler, heat only & also LPG boilers

On the whole, a terrible manufacturer. Technical support as absolute diabolical.
Quality of the boilers is shocking. I have lost control by if the cracked sumos that I have changed recently and Ideals stance in this is disgraceful.
I will never install and Ideal boiler.

I do feel there is a place for ideal boilers, but why do they seem to be jinxed with combination boiler, I have fitted lots in the past, I have fixed even more, but I'm very disappointed with the logics, they were good at first, but now the faults are coming out of the wood work, my personal gripe is the flow turbine, what a poorly designed component, scales up quick and easy, it snaps when you take it out, the turbines are also noisy when in use, the gas valves are also becoming noisy on ignition, the sumps crack and leak and on older models with the push fit flue turret clamp I have come across loose ones, very dangerous, this has again put me of ideal boilers, the only good thing is the logics will keep me in maintenance work for another 10 years.

Their logic + is a great mid range boiler with easy controls and easy to instal. Can't complain for the price.

I have personally fitted hundreds of ideal boilers and starting to have a few issues now with leaks, sumps leak flues leak, I do have an ideal vogue in my own house and feel it's a great boiler, all in all budget boilers that have a place in the market but do expect maintenance issues later.

The ideal logic+ to be fair is not a bad low priced boiler but badly let down by poor technical service on hold ages and when you do finally get through you get a receptionist who says due to high demand they will ask technical to call you back.

Cracking boiler, shame about so many issues arising and Ideal turning their backs on installers, they are no longer my first choice of boiler

My experience of Ideal Boilers is that they offer value cor money and cover every budget. We mainly install the Vogue which is IMO the best domestic combi out there for the money. We install a lot and I really love everything about it. The rest of the ideal range is lower quality but still reflects value for money.

I have always stayed well clear of installing Ideal boilers due to my experiences with the Isars and Icos range. I went to a training event yesterday where they were showing off the Locic 2 and I was very impressed. The only criticism is the plastic hydrolic blocks but to be fair, all manufactures are heading down this route.
