Fantastic brand virtually every tool is superb and should last you a lifetime if anything these are expensive tools but you get what you pay for,

If you can find a deal on their cobra grips online then get them. When at full price I think theyre a little over priced but boy are they brilliant to work with compared to channel locks.

Got the pliers which are brilliant so nice to use for long periods and times the water pump pliers are so good very strong grip comfortable to use just brilliant the flush cut pliers are good to they cut with ease also there is normally a deal on somewhere and can be picked up quite cheap

An absolute must have!! You can not beat the durability and life space of the grips. I have tried others but always go back to have knipex!!!!

After using rothenberger grips for most of my working life i bought the knipex ones and would never go back. The teeth stay sharp for longer and the feel of use is a whole better experience

I have the side cutters, pliers, long nose pliers and 3 pairs of water pump pliers and end cut pliers. They look and feel great. The cutters stay sharp and give clean cuts. Look after them and keep a bit of wd-40 on them and they'll last you a lifetime. Deffo be my choice over competitors nothing really comes close, although if I had to choose a runner up it would be Channelock.

Knipex are the best quality cable cutters I have ever purchased and had the pleasure of using .
They are built to last and always stay sharp and cut clean . Really like them as a product.

Possibly my favourite brand, have many tools by knipex, a range of grips which just seem to last forever and come in a range of sizes and they’re electrical hand tools are unmatched.

Love knipex, very durable and strong tools that will last as long as you take good care of them, Just like any tool. Does the job that you need them to do perfectly and on top of all of that they don’t rust and will stay shiny.

Never had a bad tool from the wire cutters stay sharp adjustable grips are really good and will last if nobody steels them first once again you get what you pay for

The best hand tools by far, side cutter are top notch love knipex gear, never seem to get any rust on from condensation in the van. Love it.

Best plier manufacturer bar none. Won’t use any other brand. Solid quality and extremely durable. A little more expensive than brand competitors but I really don’t mind paying a little extra to know your getting a top notch product.

They are one of the best tool makers on the market. Their ergo stripper is one of the best tools in the last few years. Great for any round cable. Their grips are great too particularly the smooth jaw grips. The raptor grips have an amazing grip and hold not for new installs but great for removal.

I own many Knipex products from their cobra grips through to their wire stripping tool. It’s a brand I trust and the German quality is second to none. I usually buy the chrome cobras as they stand up better towards rusting.

Really good well made tools that get the job done, they have an amazing range of products me specialist products they last for years, they aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for, top quality tools

This is a really good and reliable brand of tools they do cost a little bit more but they are very much worth so go ahead and check the tools out for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

Recently dipped my foot in the water and purchased the knipex ergostrip, a few cobras and the xs. Great quality products, love the ergo strip, thats a game changer, personally my favourite product :)

Good brand and quality tools I have the adjustable wrench and the electritons installation pliers the adjustable is a good bit of kit but a bit fiddly to get the right size at times with the push button design however the installation pliers are awesome bit of kit

When it comes to using adjustable grips the only one’s for me are the Knipex push button style. The range of sizes they come in is really good and helpful as well

The single best brand for electrical tools, the quality and build on every tool that I’ve bought has been top notch and could not fault anything, I have many sizes of the cobra pliers along with snips, long nose, ‘linesman’s’, 7 in 1 installation pliers( not my favourite only get use out of them for down lighters) and lots more tools, but definitely worth every penny in my opinion

Knipex vde pliers are good and easy to use very comfortable for smaller cables. I use these daily for data and t&e and never skips a beat. Would recommend these as a go to set for any level

Knipex nips are the only knips worth there weight in gold. For all day long use they are shaped perfectly and don't cause too much discomfort

Always carry multiple knipex products in my pocket. Best quality tool available in my opinion, they are dearer than other brands but definitely worth the money

I decided to buy the knipex ergostrip, it’s probably the best cable stripper i have used, there are numerous different cables that i’m able to use it on and it is the first tool i make sure is clipped to my belt

Very good quality tool, they don’t wear very easily, good variety of tools for the electrician trade. Quite expensive in comparison to similar brands but the quality you get in return is well worth it.

I have snipe nose, diagonal cutters (large and small) and the pump pliers. All very high quality. No snips compare. Definitely buy these over anything else.

Got the pliers wrench and cobra pliers. All excellent quality had them for years still going strong. Better than channel locks because if you slip handles dont close and pinch your fingers.

Knipex cobras. Are there any better grips and pliers out there? Great for all applications. 10/10 for quality. Ours are used daily and take alot of abuse. Can never have enough in your tool bag

Been using knipex pliers for over 13 years. Best pipe grips out there, side cutters are really sharp and keep their edge. Never needed customer service so cant comment

The 1000v vde tools like cutters, pliers, long nose pliers, grips and all other tools in this line are very good and well made pieces of kit.

Well all I can say is when you have tried the rest move onto the best grips on the market , I feel like I can’t complete some jobs without this the other brands just don’t come close , they never slide easy to adjust would never buy any other brand

Half of my tool bag in knipex for the exact reason is that they're sturdy quality tools. Their cobra grips are next to none, serious bit of kit.

Knipex pliers and cutters are the defacto brand for any serious tradesperson. I wouldn't be without my plier and cutter set. They're several years old now and perform just the same as the day I bought them.

Recently purchased a set of the grips wow I wish I brought them years ago there are brilliant, quality product defo worth the extra money over others!

Their pipe grips are the best, several versions of them but I’ve had them for about 30 years and they’re still as good as the day I bought them.

For me They are the best for grips. I’ve always use this my whole Career and never changed from day one They are so comfortable to hold and I’ll perfect for doing glands on SWA’s I like the small ones to very easy to use. There strong And durable. Can do a lot of jobs with these. As a range over all I give a 5 out of 5. Don’t think you will get any better. Just think they could bring the price down a bit because as a young Apprentice they might be able to Afford this type of product. Thanks

Knipex cobra pump pliers: the go to tool for the day to day plumbing jobs.

Push button slide adjustment on the jaws is second to none, bahco can’t compare to the quality on their similar products.

Could do with being a little less heavy on the pricing side though, but the tools are premium

I have a range of knipex tools which are still going strong!!
I mainly use knipex adjustable grips which are incredibly good and of the highest quality in my opinion.
Compared to all its rivals like Stanley rothenburger etc they are very competitive and in a lot of ways better!
Would recommend this brand to anyone!

I have used many different wrench in my time as being a plumber / heating engineer , I was recently introduced by a friend of my some knipex wrenches and now all I use are knipex I have all sizes from small all the way to big amazing pice of equipment

Absolutely love everything knipex. Their tools look lovely and have worked reliably for a good number of years for me! More pricey that other brands but definitely worth the extra money in my opinion.

I love my Knipex hand tools especially my snips. I have used many different pairs over the years and have found that Knipex make some of the best. They stay sharp and feel great in the hand.

Used Knives side cutter, players and long nose players for years they produce excellent tools for the electrical professional, these have never let me down, great product.

Have used knipex grips/ pump pliers for a few years now. I stumbled across them at a wholesalers that I use. I bought a very large pair and they were cheap at the time, have noticed the price has creeped up over the years but being very honest no other maker on the market compare to knipex. They are brilliant take a pounding most days and the grip has not wore out on them yet. They fit comfortably in your hand and in my opinion the best part of these grips they lock in place via a spring and do not slip and crush your nail like many other cheaper brands. Very safe comfortable and faithful tool that should be found in every trade persons tool bag/ box. Also I use amazon to buy most of my tools as they are cheaper then shops and delivery time is usually second to none.

Great range of hand tools, seem to of thought of everything in respects to day to day would be nice if their pricing was a little more affordable £50 for pipe pliers but I guess quality comes at a cost.

Knipex make what I would describe as high quality pliers and grips. I’ve used knipex extensively and find that the pliers maintain minimal play and the serrations on the jaws stay pronounced and clean.

Nippex tools are high quality and last a long time l had a pair of there side cutters for nearly 5 years still good they are in used every day

Grippers of choice. Light but strong. They are well designed and grip well. Will always look for this brand first when it comes to grips.

Bought a pair of Knipex side cutters about a year ago now and they are still sharp and in really good shape even after daily use , very reliable tool

Have a couple pliers that I’ve owned for years and previous to that owned by my Dad, still work like new and all the teeth have weathered at a minimal. Sure they will see many more years of years before being upgraded!

I have a few pieces from knipex. Well made good quality tools. I have recently bought the junior hacksaw as i was struggling to find a decent one. Quite pricey but very good I’m glad i got it

Best grips In game, never slip and fit perfect on most fittings, you can even tighten pumps up properly with them. The side cutters and pliers are top notch as well

I have had multiple pairs of the knipex pliers including the 9 inch glancing pliers and they are the best brand for pliers I have used and get the job done every time without fail highly recommend

I have recently bought a few of the cobra grips in different sizes and they are easily the best grips I have used! Well worth the money, I will be buying a lot more knipex tools!

Have a combi pliers and side cutters, Cannot fault them at all! Comfy to hold and have loads of grip! The cutting edges keep the sharpness and havnt dulled yet! Had them over 1 year so far!!

I use the Knipex ergo strip, makes stripping wires a breeze when wiring up my Boilers. Well made works well with a variety of cable & wires.

Great range of pliers, snips and strippers, tools keep their edge well, are comfortable and customer service is good. Also good for technician kits.

Knipex reputation speaks for themselves yes they’ve always been a bit expensive compared to other brands but I’ve had my pliers and cobras for a long time so I think it worth paying the extra.

recently received my delivery of knipex plier set, can’t fault the quality, especially for the price. 100x better than my previous sets, hopefully they withstand the rest of time, as long as the labourer doesn’t lose them!

Looking at the plier wrenches at the moment. My last purchase was the step cutters for cutting larger cables. With small 165mm lenght there great to get into mains boards whete cables could be short etc.

I have knipex pliers and grips they are vde 1000v
Been the the tool box for a few years and still stand up today uesed daily , very comfortable in hand and the grips are still nice bright red and yellow , only gripe with knipex are they are very expensive with a lot of other company’s offering similar tools for considerably less but matching quality and performance

I purchased this a while back when prices were higher for around £40 but even at its current price of £33-36 I am not sure I would purchase again.
Its a lot of money for a piece of plastic with some blades on it.
There are times when it's great, a job that involves the working of flex on multiple items consecutively. In these circumstance, the outer insulation stripper is the best part, making nice clean cuts without over scoring to the inner insulation after a bit of practice. The inner core stripping section whilst useful, is less practical to use, having to eyeball up the different size holes, you need to do thus as if you don't get it right you either fail to strip the insulation or you strip too tightly and end up ripping out the copper strands. I had a job that involved flexing up dozens of light packs and control boxes over a couple of days and gave up using the inner insulation stripping feature, just used my side cutters.
Good for stripping meter tails outer insulation, handy for when you can strip it back over long lengths to save space and ease bending in large panels or boards.
There are times when weeks havd gone by and I haven't used it and all of a sudden I get to a part of a job that warrants the use of this tool but much of the time, by the time I have gone back to my tool box and dug this out I could have done the stripping with my side cutters that I always carry when fitting out/second fixing.
Also, in view of the fact that these have not really had a great deal of use, the blades seem to be wearing and not scoring cleanly anymore.
Not a de rigeur tool for all sparkies but a useful tool to have for those regularly on jobs that require lots of flexing up.

Some of the best snips I've had over the years. I had a pair of pipe grips that lasted me for years and really did take a beating with amazing movement between sizes. The only reason I don't have them at the moment is they grew legs and walked away but definitely looking to replace them in the future.

I’ve got the crimp tool for my ferrules and I’ve a set of side cutters both well made and top quality!
Not the cheapest around but in terms of value for money I think they are ok, pipe grips look good so may look at them when I need to upgrade! The tool range is good but could always be bigger and better! May be add some other ranges ??

Fantastic brand. The grips are for me by far the best grips on the market. Great build quality and they’ve never let me down yet. Not the cheapest on the market, but when the tool is as good as their and lasts long you don’t mind paying it

I’ve had a limited experience with this brand using VDE cobra pliers and a splicing knife so far but my impression is that it’s essentially the pinnacle of tool brands and if money wasn’t a factor I can’t imagine anyone wouldn’t fill their bag with Knipex gear.
I’m not sure if the tools come with specific warranties as I’ve found it hard to tell when buying and browsing (usually tool warranties are highlighted as a major selling point) but the idea I suppose is that Knipex is the business you won’t need another.
Super impressed anyway so far from my experience and will look to gather more tools as my old kit dies.

Absolutely awesome screwdrivers, amazing quality and extremely good for the price. I use my knipex on every job, rubber withdtands transportation and constant use at every job. The magnets in the end are especially useful for those tighter more fiddly wiring jobs.

The knipex cora grips are an amazing addition to the tool box. Brilliant build. Non slip so never nip my fingers . I have both the 12 inch and 10 inch grips that i used daily but the best part i have are the 125mm that i keep in my pocket and use all the time. Once you got a set of these you'll never buy another brand of grips again
