MAG-LITE

I have had MAG-Light for 25 years or so. Mini- MAG for camping, it takes 2xAA batteries and I have another one that 3xD cell batteries which I have near the consumer unit in case of power outages. They were definitely the torch to have back in the day for backpacking, the mini mag is small and reliable but the batteries definitely run down pretty quickly. Loved the area in the back of the torch for the spare bulb. The larger torch with 3xD cells makes you feel like you have a weapon in your hand, you can concentrate the beam by turning the bezel at the front of the torch. It does however run flat extremely quickly.

I have three Mag-lite torches, two over 15 years old and the durability and reliability cannot be bettered ! My 4xD cell fell down two flights of stone steps and apart from some deep scratches / gouges it not only still works, but didn't even break the lens !

Maglite have got a well deserved reputation for strong and durable torches.
I think the police use them as they are strong and reliable.
I live on a farm and l take a mag lite with me l do my rounds at night

I have had several mag lights over the years and everyone starts off ok but quickly they lose that brightness even with regular battery changing. They feel good on the hand and look good too. I just feel that there are now plenty of lighting solutions to choose from that might give better value.

You can't go wrong with a mag lite. When you think of flash lights you think of mag lite. Great quality and well made product thankfully technology has advanced and they aren't like they used to be weighing a ton. Great range of light and lightweight at that

I admit I have a thing for torches,,,I have brought dozens over the years but I always go back to my original Maglite,,,I have upgraded to a led bulb now which helps the batteries last ages.

These are like the Rolls Royce of torches! Although I have a Dewalt work lamp for most things, sometimes you need something smaller to illuminate a small space and these torches are the best choice. I have one that’s several years old, beaten up, but still works fine. Also I have a newer one so I can have one in my tool box and one in the van.

Purchased a little rechargeable torch over 6 months ago and it’s stayed in my pocket ever since haven’t gone a day at work without it, such a bright torch consider it’s the side of a marker pen

Purchased the 4 battery torch about 20 years ago. It has been great. Upgraded to an led bulb now to keep with the times. The newer torches maglite do are brighter still but this thing will not die. Astonishing.

One of the best torches I’ve ever owned. Been through a few lamps over the years but the body of the torches are strong and last and still going strong after 25+ years

Not owned my maglite long but on first impressions it seems like good quality torch.
Rechargeable led and can charge off my van which comes in handy.

I wouldn’t be without my tactical maglite really well made and very robust, its been dropped a few times and still works fine. Good for work and leisure

I had this for 20 plus years now always worked and always a good light off it .. this year we upgraded the bulb to a led pack in it and its given the torch a new lease of life

Mag-lite have been around for years and bringing there line up with the latest led chips continuing to be 1 of the best out there soild made and very robust product could be dropped several times and wouldn’t affect performance

Cannot beat mag lite. Been around years and still better quality than most on the market. Nothing else to really say other than they are a fantastic flash light

I had these torches for 15yr now ( when they were the torch to have ) but there still going just not as bright as the torches today u can get led bulbs for them but like I said not bright but if u want a torch to last for ever then this is the torch for u

I've had a couple of my Mag-Lite torches for 21 years they're still going strong. You could say the original and best. These seem pricey but they're virtually indestructible and likely last a lifetime.

Great product amazing build quality take a hammering and still work batteries last a life time beEn using them for years and never broke one i like the candle feature as well

Everyone goes on about all the other brands, but these are the original and the best personally. They're virtually indestructible, very bright and never fail!

I've used maglites for many years, they have never let me doen. the products seem to be almost indestructible. Tough, reliable equipment, made to last and endure pretty harsh environments. mag-lite s brand I trust and would recommend.

Have an old 2 cell and 3 cell, when these eventually give up I will definitely upgrade to LED equivalents, but judging by the build quality I may be in for a wait !

Had a couple of these torches over the years they are super handy and bright. Just big enough not to get lost but not too bulky if you are carrying it around on your belt all day. I have the LED version currently and I am really impressed I’ve had it for about 8 or 9 years and still going strong. Just had to change the batteries and away it goes again

Great brand with the quality and reliability to back the name up. Never been let down by my maglite and have had it for over ten years. Can’t think of a better torch brand on the market.

I bought mine about 15 years ago the 3D battery version in a trade pack which included the 2AA version as well and other goodies like a belt clip, nylon holder and an adapter so the torch would not roll around when set down. All still going strong replaced the bulbs but nothing else.

I loved the adaptability of my Maglite torch. So reliable too! Unfortunately got lost so need another. Well worth the investment

I have purchased this torch 8 years ago and it's been used for work mainly but also campaig and sometimes even as a weapon ;) just kidding,

Good quality tough torch, which puts up with a lot of abuse. Only niggle I found, the bulbs blow quite easily.
