Purdy
We’ve been making handmade paint brushes since 1925 and in that time the Purdy name has become the standard for delivering quality tools to the trade. We want to be the best and refuse to compromise to get there.
We’ve spent over 80 years talking to Professionals. Understanding what they want out of their tools to make sure we deliver the best possible painting experience.
Absolute quality, everytime
Our brushes are created by hand, personally and individually. Many of our brushmakers have more than three decades of experience. They take the best materials and turn them into the finest brushes and products available.
And every brush you buy has a sticker with the initials of the person who made it. We see this as proof that we take pride in the quality of our work. No other paint brush manufacturer can say they have that commitment to quality.

very good quality gear I’ve used this gear for a long time and if you look after them you’ll get longevity and your money’s worth out of them. A bit pricey but worth it.

If you are a professional or diy hero this is the brand for you. The quality is outstanding and the end product is faster and better that any other brand I have ever used. What a time saver.

I’ve painted for years!
To be honest purdy brushes are pretty hard to beat!
They aren’t cheap by any means!
But they live up to their cost for sure!
If you look after them a brush wold last for a very long time!!
I particularly like the long handle slanted brushes which are brilliant for cutting in emulsion!
Also their rollers and preparation tools are really good quality!
Many of my friends who are in the trade use purdy products also!

Purdy brushes for me using emulsion they do exactly
What it says on the box.
Be prepared to spend double but they are well worth the money.
Especially when using waterbased materials.
Look after the brush and it will give you years of service.

Never had a problem with any of the customer service from Purdy even though they are an American based company. They have lots of products such as brushes, rollers, roller cages, scuttles, multi tools & lots more. All of there products are made to last and you can tell this by the quality of all the products. Only downside is they are pricey but if your willing to invest you wont be having to replace them any time soon.

I use Purdy brushes, roller frames, roller sleeves, and extension poles. The quality is very good and reliable. I particularly like the 12+inch roller frame as it's quick to swap out one sleeve for another, for example when you're changing from ceiling to wall colour roller. The brushes are great, and as good as most of the other quality professional brushes on the market.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Purdy decorating product range.

Purdy Paintbrushes are as good as you can get on the market in the UK they are great brushes to use with various filaments for different paints. They are well known for being on the expensive side, but you pay for what you get at the end of the day. I’d recommend them to fellow decorators but could be expensive for diy users

Why are prices so high? They're amazing quality and practicality but the prices are pretty high. Could you introduce a slightly cheaper range along the same lines as other companies?
