Sentinel
Sentinel is a company with a clear goal: we offer water treatment products and services that provide the best lifetime protection for heating and hot water systems. Originally launched in the UK by Grace Dearborn in 1988 and subsequently a subsidiary of the leading multinational General Electric, Sentinel has operated independently since 2005, expanding its international reach and range of innovative solutions.
The story of our innovation is filled with firsts, from the pioneering of the practice of Jetflushing back in 1998 to the development of the world’s first multi-cyclone central heating filter, Eliminator, in 2012. Recognised as a UK market leader, we are justly proud of this reputation for innovation and new product development.
Our product offering has developed to address the needs of both domestic and commercial central heating installers and engineers, strengthening our range of products for traditional boiler systems, and expanding into products for renewable energy systems and potable water systems. We also have a number of products in our range developed specifically for specialised markets, such as Germany.

Always had great results with sentinel water treatment products.
I would highly recommend.
However I’ve found there heating filters the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Clunky, ugly and a last resort tbh. Hopefully they will improve this in the future as they are a very reputable company which I would certainly use if they could release somthing better.

Great chemicals by a reputable brand, and recommended by boiler manufacturers too! Everything a gas engineer needs, from cleaners & leak sealers to inhibitors, I recommend the whole range!

Sentinel have a really good range of products for heating engineers. They come at a premium price against budget filters and chemicals. I suppose it’s like anything else you buy cheap you by twice. Reliable products and good range.

I have been using this brand for cleaning chemicals and inhibitor for about 15 years. Does exactly what it says and won’t disappoint. The x800 I have only used a few times on really dirty systems along side a powerflush machine and was impressed with the results finished off with x100 inhibitor.

Sentinel chemicals are very reasonably priced and do exactly what they set out to do.
I purchased their sentinel jetflush poweflush machine over 15 years ago and it has worked hard for me and is still in operation today

Excellent chemicals for heating systems, the leak sealer has saved me a lot of time and effort when hunting for a small leak in a finished floor!
The quality is tried and tested and will out do the cheap brands that merchants are pushing these days.

That X100, I’m never sure it’s not just water but it really does do the job, love the x800 for the power flush but tent to use the FX2 from Kamco a bit more.

I have used some of there products over the years, the last few years I have tended to use Adey products generally as they have been cheaper. Especially when bought with filter pack.
After attending a sentinel water treatment training session I was pleasantly surprised by there fantastic attitude to the industry and other leading brands, through there honesty and a better understanding of there products I’m more likely to use there chemicals.
Still not sold on there filter but again was surprised by its build quality.

I've used the chemicals for years, never had a issue. Not a massive fan of the filter but it does work well just looks a bit ugly

I've used this for a long time and found it to be a good reliable product. There are better ones on the market like Adey but this won't really see you wrong.

I find sentinel a really good product. X800 is brilliant for cleaning central heating systems. And I've found x100 great for protecting systems. I'm not overly keen on their system filter it feels a bit cheep and I think for a market leading company they could do better really
