One third of the energy consumed around the world is used for heating or cooling buildings. The systems used for this are controlled by non-smart technology that has been outdated for decades. Creating something new
We at tado° have been working to optimize energy consumption of buildings and adjusting it to the actual demand of the residents since autumn 2010. We question the old, developing a new hard- and software generation for heating control to replace it. Our outstanding team goes down entirely new paths with our technology.

I have the tado° installed in my own home. It’s a good thermostat and offers good tracking and options for controlling the heating. It gives you a monthly energy report which is helpful.

This is a fairly technical component but so easy to use and maintain, works of existing thermostat feed. Install the app on everyone in the household and the heating will adjust and suit itself to make sure the house is warmed to temperature ready for you entering, will shut off if it senses windows or doors open.
Very clever and highly recommended

We fitted this heating controller ourselves last year. It was so simple and works a dream with our mobile phones, it knows who is in and who is out and who requires what temperatures. A very flexible system. We changed our boiler to a combi and removed the upstairs water cylinder in November, we had a slight problem over the first weekend of use with the new system but it was promptly sorted out but the excellent after sales department. Great service.

I installed my tado my self it was quite easy to do I did the living room thermostats and all the radiators upstairs and down stairs and set up all the timings for when each one comes on and off and the temperatures first each room

Fitted a smart thermostat for a customer as they did not want to pay the money for a new Gen hive of nest and I must say in terms of installation it’s by far the easiest I’ve installed, will most likely recommend this to customers over other leading brands

Fitted one as advised with a Viessmann, I have never had so much trouble setting up a control, the unit doesn’t link into the wifi but goes to its own hub and needs power . Yes customers have loads of those next to their home hub don’t they

Fitted this product for a customer and had an issue when the Stat was wired it wouldn't work until I contacted Tech support for them to authorise that it was fitted right. I fit smart stats constantly and this is the first on I had an issue with.
