Just got a new Worcester 8000 style in black. It looks more like a mobile phone than a boiler. They are far too good looking to hide away in a utility room and would actually compliment any kitchen

My last boiler was a Porter ton I believe manufactured by baxi? No issues but recently switched to the worcester Bosch 30si and it seems to have made a huge difference to the property heating and water is optimised in saving money with it and the follow up service of auto registering the 10 year warranty is a touch of class. The fact it has a parts and labour warranty of 10 year speaks for itself

Worcester boilers have a false rating of being one of the best boilers on the market I beg to differ ... I put this down to advertising . They are one of the worst designed boilers and as a break down engineer one of the most common boilers I deal with and the most poorly designed down to changing a pressure relief valve and expansion vessel ! Never will I fit one of these ! Vaillant all day long .

My previous boiler was about 10 years old, so to have a new, modern boiler was great. My boiler is in my garage so in order to alter anything I would have to go in there, which was a pain! Now, I have the luxury of the controls being in my house and once I got used to the 'computer' set up, it was a big improvement, and I love it. I gave four stars as I have only had the boiler for a year so not sure yet how it will affect my gas bill. Perhaps in a year's time, I will give it five stars!

Good quality screw drivers vde insulated sets are top quality and very well priced good case and very well worth the money also armeg snips are toughed steel for getting the job done

Worcester are my go to boiler, love fitting the new 8000 range and 2000 dead quiet, easy to fit, never had any problems great warranty, not had any customers complain about them yet

I believe they are alright for the consumer, for the engineer they can be slightly irritating. Easy to repair, just more hassle than they need to be.
The customer service needs to improve, every time I call for warranty, they always search for the cheapest things in a boiler to replace so they can charge their full whack fixed rate to my customers, they should replace the heat exchangers no questions asked if still covered, but they will do a prv and aav which cost pence, and instead of reimbursing the customer about 190. They charge full for 2 products that cost no where near 190. Always takes about a 3 days to come out. Baxi return same or next day.

Great product that lasts, I wouldn't buy any other brand of combi boiler. Great value for money and easy to use, with the eco button switched on it takes the water approx 30sec to heat up, with it off you have instant hot water. Great product.

Installed quite a few worcs bosch boilers over the last 35years always good quality parts used in there construction never had many problems boiler warranty is second to none normally engineers out same or next day

I have worked with Worcester Bosch for over 25 years years and there is no better product out there than can match the service, value, performance and customer service . Their boilers outlast their competitors by a long way. Parts are easily accessible, but of late quality on those is questionable

I know Worcester have a bit of a mixed view by gas engineers but after working on and servicing and maintenance contract with mainly Worcester I can only say what a joy so easy to replace parts only criticism is its a bit of a fiddley to clean the main heat exchanger

Always advise the customer to go with a Worcester Bosch if they require an up grade , when we are extending their property, solid with good customer care service. Peace of mind

Installed a 8000 system boiler wow looks great wow it’s so quiet yes a great boiler but issue for me was smart controls the Worcester wireless smart stat doesn’t work with standard valves for hot water so you have to buy a kit the you fit on the boiler to pipe up to hot water circuit, to do so the boiler has to come off the wall !! And then the connections are 15mm ?? For the flow and return hot water circulation pipework, on calling technical they was pretty clueless in the reasons why I wouldn’t say very helpful, anyway on doing so I connected up looked great wireless set up looked brilliant no three port valves no wiring centre ect then realised I had to wire up the thermal cut out on the mega flow cylinder, to where im still awaiting a response from Worcester as heatrea stadia say it must wire to boiler !? Worcester say ask Megaflow tech

Recently replaced my old Worcester 380 after some twenty years and it still worked ok, I only had one minor issue at the beginning while under guarantee,
I have gone for a lean burning latest wall mounted unit which already has reduced my gas costs.

Worst boilers of working on them be prepared to have your hands torn apart everything is over complicated on them loads of parts to go wrong these are the only boilers we carry’s spares for haven’t worked on the new 8000 range but doubt they will be much better changed these boilers that are 3-4 years old because they are just terrible customer services is good tho they will always come out and see what the issue is

Absolute terrible boilers, trying to work on these is like putting your hand through a mincer. Overpriced budget boiler spec and the Bain of my plumbing life. Buy an ideal vogue instead

Best boiler on the market. Just do what they are supposed to do. Great product range and good quality the aftercare is brilliant and they come with a genuine guarantee not a warranty other companies try to wiggle out of.

I have never fitted any of the Worcester range due to I have been to so many with different faults the majority of the time it’s down to plastic parts splitting (hydro block) and soaking most electrical components.

I won’t be fitting this brand due to the quality of the construction.

Worcester boilers are the best on the market in my eyes and to go with the brilliant products they produce they have a outstanding customer services and I would recommend these boilers to anyone!

Worcester Greenstar 2000, 25 and 30 KW.

Brilliant boiler for landlords or customers that are happy with a 6 year manufactures warranty. The valves are a little different from the usual Worcester boilers as there’s no jig, but after you’ve fitted a few they are fine. The MK2 version comes with a pair of offsets to get the flow and return back inline with the other valves. You can also use any control with the 2000 now not just the comfort RF II.

My work install worchester boilers in there properties seem a good bit of kit , never hear of many issues the plumbers say there plenty room to fit the pipe work and easy to install nice all round bit of kit

Well priced products, with plenty of boilers to choose from.25 kw for the smaller property up to 100 kw that can be joined together for commercial applications.

Exceptional boilers when regularly serviced and maintained but some product ranges can be difficult to work on and strip down when repairs are required.

i have had a worcester boiler for 4 years now and it has never missed a beat. it is quiet in its operation. it was the best decision I made changing to a Worcester boiler.

Worcester show just how powerful good branding is, it’s a shame that their build quality is less than their main competitors at sometimes a higher price.

I have a Worcester 30 CDI gas combi boiler in my house coming up to 10 years old never let us down. Parts are easily available and customer service is excellent. Can’t comment on the new sleeker looking range.

Have always been a big fan of Worcester until their latest range I think it’s a step backwards look good but too much plastic just a nightmare when you have heavy handed engineers

For me they are the best boiler brand out there . Good build quality , look good , and their customer service is the best in the business . The only negative is the price but you get what you pay for

We have no used bosch exclusively for around 10 years and cannot fault the service and products we have used
We work on other boilers also but fitting wise we have found the best service from them

An Absolute disgrace to British engineering... My opinion, more sub standard products from Worcester... However, Worcester’s advertising & marketing is amazing... They sell rubbish and “Joe public” believe it... scandalous..!!!

I have fitted loads of these 30is and Life boilers.
Easy to work on after in particular he life with the Prv more accessible.
Good to see the guarantee has been extended on the I range.

Worcester bosh have marketed themselves extremely well over the last decade to the point that the majority of Boiler manufacturers have been playing catch-up for the last several year’s. The training courses and factory tour certainly give you a better understanding of there products.

As a company Worcester Bosch take a great deal of pride in their products. Having been on several product courses at the Worcester factory, they make sure us installers are treated well and the training facilities reflect this. As far as products go, from the cheaper budget models to the high end models, the boilers are built with quality and reliability in mind. Typical German engineering shows in the construction and operation of the boilers and controls. Quality products for the end users that put quality before price, backed up by a first class support network for both end users and installers.

These are great boiler very reliable and give the homeowners certainly peace of mind and reassurance, dedicated service engineers and a support network I would recommend

This is a WB bashing but they to have common faults and but they don’t recognise these issues and always blame the engineer, even on the Trianon courses they think there products are the best and they don’t have faults and which we all know isn’t, now I like there boiler and they just need to listen to engineers more and back engineers more!!

just fitted a 32kw compact combi boiler, it was so easy fit and easy to wire a nest thermostat to go with it, normally fit ideal boilers this might change my mind to fit more Worcester boilers

I love Worcester boilers and the new one is a game changer, not because of the technology inside but finally a 35kw combi boiler gives 35kw to heating as well as hot water. not the easiest to install but then this stops diyers giving it a go

Worcester boilers might cost a bit more then other brands but the customer service is unrivalled. Any issues and Worcester are more then happy to help and get it sorted.

My company has been installing, servicing and repairing Worcester Bosch boilers now for some years. There is no denying their boilers perfrom well and the range covers all basis. From an installer perspective they ar not the easiest boilers to work with and I have had 2 boilers in the last 6 months with defects “out the box”. One was a 30i combi that was leaking fro the flow turbin adaptor and one was a 38CDi classic with a faulty PCB. In both instances Worcester were out the next day to repair and i can commend them enough for that, the customer service is superb. The products lack the quality Id expect for the cost though. The composite plastic hydro blocks are proven to be weak and the lack of a low water pressure switch that leads to heat exchanger ripple baffles me. The reputation Worcester has though is nothing but enviable to their competition though and as long as people keep asking for them, I will continue to supply and install them.

Currently as a WAI we must say that Worcester are the premium brand, the best of the best! Customer service, training, technical help! Only manufacturing company offering guarantee and not a warranty!

I have been involved with Worcester Bosch for many years oil boilers, ground source and air source heat pumps More recently gas boilers.
There training is second to none and there Facility to renew your gas qualifications is in the best environment out there

Over all Worcester as a company are brilliant. They offer a great back up service and have some great boilers. I think some of there range is over priced and over rated but on the whole we don’t have to many issues with this brand and will continue to recommend and install them.

Hard to leave an unbiased review having done the factory tour. Apparently Worcester are a charity organisation, so this means the directors don’t take a share payout and the profits are put back into Worcester for research and development. They only make boilers as they are ordered, and each one goes through intense testing before it even comes out the factory....... makes you wonder why they go wrong on a gas valve at commissioning. They are a good boiler, I’ve heard customer service and technical help is second to none. Always seem a bit busy in the boiler, might make future repairs difficult, and my pet hate, Worcester sharp edges, haven’t fitted one that hasn’t made me bleed. Don’t agree with the warranty scheme and personally it does seem like it’s geared for mid to high end companies rather than sole traders. Accredited installer requires 25 boilers fitted a year (I think is what the rep told me on factory tour) which is easily attainable for everybody apparently. Maybe if you only fit boilers, but as a general plumber that fits bathrooms too, that’s over 2 boilers a month, and with cheaper boilers on the market, you need to get your sales pitch right to a customer every time to be hitting that target. Granted a more boiler orientated plumber that maybe has 3 boilers a week, that target becomes more reachable.
In overview, yes they are a good boiler, yes they go through vigorous testing and have a quality back up support. They are well known due to advertising due to selling double the numbers of their closest rivals. Are there better boilers out there, arguably yes, certainly boilers that will do the same thing for less money. Ultimately comes down to your sales pitch and the customers willingness to pay. I would recommend a Worcester boiler, but I always give the customer another option. Unless Worcester recognise one man band plumbers a bit more, I will continue to do this.

I've recently fitted a compact combi for a customer (against my advice) and had to get Worcester out to replace the PCB before I could even commission it,I do a lot over servicing and repair work and at least 90% of callouts to faulty boilers are.......Worcester,I don't recommend them to any of my customers as there are more cost effective and reliable boilers on the market

I am not really a Worcester fan as i find them difficult to replace parts on, they are not cheap to buy but not a bad product in general the best feature is tech line its fantastic with not much waiting around

We dont fit any other boiler. We never have any issues with Worcester. We have never had one come out the box with an issue. If a problem does occur they are always ready to help. They are not difficult to deal with like other manufactures and you can speak to a member of there stuff quickly on the phone. No long phone calls where your on hold for 20 minutes.

For us this is the boiler of choice as you know when they are fitted that you very seldom have any problems with them and if you do you can get in contact with there technical department very quickly without having to stay on hold for a long period of time as with other boiler manufacturers.

Worcester are a customer favourite due to clever marketing and we fit them for this reason. I find the boilers reliable but when the boilers fail the customer service is hit or miss in terms of getting an engineer out to fix under warranty. Also the warranty status is a bit confusing, 5,6,7 years or possibly 9 if you pay or is it 10 as long as you pay or is it just 7? If you get what I'm saying

Excellent guarantees, excellent customer care and excellent products.
I've been installing Baxi for years now and have never had an issue. With steel heat exchangers and full metal hydrolic block the quality speak for its self. Highly recommend reasonably priced

Visited Worcesters factory just down the road from us, great layout and seem to pride itself on inovation and quality. Reps have a good knowledge of the products they sell and approachable.
Technical service again from my experience answer the phone quickly and have a good knowledge.

As a service engineer I dread turning up to a Worcester.

Sharp metal on the cases, plastic parts that pinhole and leak, electrodes that warp.

They might be the installers choice but they are not the repair mad choice, that award goes to Intergas :)

From someone who has fitted around 500 of their boilers in the last 9 years. I couldn't rate them or their customer service highly enough !

Over priced and over complicated older versions were more reliable and better made

Found these to be pretty unreliable, not as easy to install or work on as the Baxi range, and alot more expensive.
