Arctic Hayes 'Strikes' Smoke Matches are ideal for spillage testing on gas appliances or initial flue draw testing. Clean to use with no residue and cool to the touch after burning. They have a 20 second burn time and each match produces about 0.75m³ of dense smoke.

They certainly work ok when lit. The trouble is they don’t always light off the strike surface provided on the top. I often just light them off the burner or pilot if accessible. The the smoke if fine and reasonably priced.
