ARMEG EBS Tri-Cut Single Box Kit

Cuts a neat and tidy hole with minimal clean up after. Great on breeze blocks but struggles on harder bricks , used with the dust catcher leaves very little debris .

A very good tool for use on plasterboard but as soon as the front sinks too deep and hits brick or wood it becomes tiresome. Yes this can be considered user error but just an observation

Good bit of kit, great for sinking boxes in occupied properties as its quicker and neater than chiselling and causes much less mess than cutting with grinders.
Good too for new build and re-wires.
Not so good on dense block/bricks. As it struggles to cut them.
But overall leaves a good neat finish.

These box cutters work really well, can be a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it if you’ve got a lot of 1st fixing to do. They may take some time on engineering bricks or if the mortar is tough. But definitely worth it. Also helps keep the dust down if you’ve got the kit with the dust shroud, a little tip, drill a 32mm hole in the back of the dust shroud and your extractor will slot right in, your welcome!

A bit on the pricey side but saves so much time when cutting boxes in to softer materials. Would be great if there was a version for harder materials. So easy to use and I have the double box cutter too which is great for even the deepest 47mm back boxes.

Again I was a little sceptical on its use on other than breeze block. Works well on brick if you take your time. Leaves a much nearer cut for the next trades that follows you. Worth the outlay.

great for sinking boxes. have found the shafts on the circular cutter snap white often so have got through quite a few, but I couldn't be without this when doing kitchen rewires

Found the product very easy to use and works really well for the first 10 I would say then the chisel shank snapped. First week I may add, I was able to get a straight replacement for the double box shank to snap a month later.

Good but of kit and works well, only really any good on block and similar softer building materials, doesn't work in old school brick but then again nothing does really.

Makes box sinking quick and easy. I have had to replace a few of the bits over the years after a few of the shafts have broken off due to it snagging.

Nice set not too bad for what it is. Cuts a nice neat hole but can snag and sometime break a bit to much brick off causing a bit of a mess just have to take your time and be careful. Used quite a lot on rewire a nice and quick and hasn’t blunted.

These make life so easy. We built a house for my father and he had 32 double sockets. This made it an absolute dream. Used it at home on much harder brick walls and took a little longer but still got it done and a nice neat job.

Use one of these on all my rewires or even just the odd back boxes, they do create quite a bit of dust and does have some issues with harder materials but on breeze block etc they really do speed things up especially when there is quite a few boxes to sink. I would not be without mine and and just get round the odd issue with stitch drilling when needed. Most of Armeg's tools are quite pricey but in fairness do last, i have tried cheaper alternatives and do not last any where as long as the original Armeg branded items.

Brilliant peice of kit but only effective on soft block or soft brickwork doesnt work on concrete block. Good for house bashing not good for renovation of old buildinge. Quite pricey too compaired to a decent hammer drill with chisel bit.

Great for breezeblock. Leaves a nice clean edge and quicker than chasing. Not worth getting out of the van for brick walls though so I rarely use it

Excellent kit, ideal for quick back box sinking in light building materials. You can do in brick also, but need to use the hard material chisel after cutting the circular hole as the square cutter will break fairly quick if used on brick.
