Broadfix Assorted Levelling Shims Bag 160
The Broadfix Levelling Shims have been manufactured with a high percentage of post-industrial and post-consumer recycled material. As they are made from plastic they will not swell, shrink or rot and they are completely waterproof.
Capable of withstanding higher compressive loads than traditional timber levelling shims. This also makes them more economical. They are colour coded depending on size, for easy identification.

Much similar to the packer kit but horse shoe to hang over fixings and between timbers and walls. Good for timber frame work.
Extra versatility is always a big plus for me.

Just the job. I have used these for all sorts. Fitting windows and doors, setting height when replacing a section of skirting before fixing, even for a PIA bit of pelmet. Colour coding makes quick selection easy. The shape allows you to fit in a gap that already has a screw in before tightening.
I struggle to think of a way these could be any better.

I first bought a bag of these for home as I was fitting 2 new door frames and needed some packers. I used them to fit the door linings and they are easy to use and have multiple thickness packers so you can add them together to get the thickness you need. After using them for the doors I have since found lots of uses for them and since bought more packets.
I like how they have different thickness packers which are colour coded so you know straight away which size they are. They have fins in the U bit which means you can slip them into a space with the screw through and they won’t drop off as the fins grip the screw. They also come in 2 Lengths too so smaller and longer ones.
I would certainly recommend these to anyone who needs to use packers on a regular basis
