C.K Heavy Duty Cable Cutters

Great shears! Cuts easily through 35mm tails. Great comfort and the price is pretty good. I’ve been using a set now for about 4 years and they are still very sharp! It’s like anything if you look after them and only cut copper and aluminium they will last.

Descent set of croppers.
Nice size and fit in the hand nicely with the shaped handles.
They do have an awkward cut that I find a bit jarring on larger cables.
But overall good cutters.

CK are my go to for hand tools. Always reliable and these cut through cable with ease. Good handles for grip and it helps being yellow if your looking for them!

I have had several pairs of the CK side cutters over the years and have always liked them and have got on well with them. I decided to buy the bigger cable croppers and I have found them invaluable for when you are first fixing to chop the cables and also for trimming up meter tails

Best cable sheers I’ve ever used have used on swa cable before and it hasn’t grumbled perfect for cutting meter tails down to size and fit in my magma bag perfectly

Great to use and can be stored away in tool boxes and bags, great to keep in the van. Would even be handy for use at home when needed.

Fantastic cutters they will literally cut through anything, not that you would cut bigger t&e than 10mm but will cut meter tails if caught in a pinch.

Great quality product, worth paying a bit more for good tools, brand well respected amongst the trade.

Cuts 2.5mm all day with ease. It’s abit hard to cut 10mm but there’s some larger versions of these. They get blunt after a few months of daily use but sharpen up easy enough.
Best snips abouts.

Good pliers, worked brilliantly at first, but after a wile went blunt, but still good for cutting 3.5mm screws.

Great to work with and good price, good grip and strong, But go blunt after a few months.

Would recommend to a friend and buy again

Nice bit of kit cuts 25mm with ease only down side is after a while the cutting edge gets chipped. The grips are good and strong. But a bit pricey

Depends what you pay for them... I got Then pretty cheap, do the job well in solid useless on anything made of flex.
Cut up to 25mm okay with a bit of swinging

Perfect if only cutting solid core cable but does struggle with stranded esp .75. Fair price against its competitors and happy to have in my tool kit.

Good cutters. They cut all size of domestic cables with ease. Good for shower installs or cooker installs.

Decent enough cable croppers. Better for bigger stuff. I'm had (and lost) a couple of pairs of these.

Brilliant pair of cutters good for any round cable not great on twin and earth but can still be used on them. Nice and easy to use in a confined space like a feeder pillar generally a good piece of kit.
