The Crescent Lufkin® Shockforce Night Eye Tape has a matt black, nylon blade that provides extended product life and increased glare reduction. The blade is dual-sided, with a vertical quick-read scale on the underside for overhead and hard to reach measurements. It offers an impressive unassisted standout of 4.3m (14ft). Fitted with a diamond-coated end hook that grabs material from every direction and prevents slippage.
Narrow blade technology offers reduced weight, ideal when carrying a tape all day on the jobsite. Its optimised drum and spring design are contained within a compact case that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. A steel tether point offers increased safety capability when working at height and if you drop the tape it will survive a fall of up to 100ft. The steel tether point can also be used for scribing and drawing arcs during layout.

I paid £25 for my night eye (including VAT). Great tape measure. With increments on both sides of the tape, it is great to use and easy. The green markings on the tape make it very easy to read in slightly darker conditions.
The cage around the tape measure helps stop unnecessary damage should you drop the tape measure.
Hooks are on both sides or the blade for easy hooking onto materials. And they both actually work!!!
It is a little on the costly side, but for what you get I think it is well worth it.

Bought one of these a few months ago from America so I could get the imperial only version and never touched another tape measure since! By far the best tape measure in every way, never going to use anything other than these again
