DEWALT Bi-Metal 2X Life Holesaw
The DEWALT Bi-Metal 2X Life Holesaws are designed for heavy-duty cutting in standard or deep cut applications. They are fitted with a quick-release mandrel that prevents lock up of the holesaw and enables it to be easily removed.
The extra hard, variable pitch, high-speed steel teeth have an M3 steel cutting edge that provides extended holesaw life. They provide a 12.5mm deeper cut than standard bi-metal holesaws. Ideal for cutting holes in steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium, wood, plastic and other composition.

Cuts like a knife through butter, as long you look after! I use these to cut holes through rsj's when there's no other way to route pipes. I make sure I use a high speed drill light pressure only and more importantly I use a cutting spray. Goes through in no time and still sharp for many more holes. Won't last an eternity going through rsj's, get at least 10 holes minimum on 10mm thick steel. Will last a lot longer on usual 1 to 2 mm steels. Again using a cutting spray really does help reduce wear and improves cutting speed.
