DEWALT DCD740C1 XR Angle Drill 18V

I am not sure how I lasted so long without one of these. Makes the job so much easier in those tight or hard to reach area. I keep all my tools dewalt for not only the ease of use or using the same batteries but because they have never let me down

Brought this for a couple of projects at my parents that I knew were going to be a pain, ended up giving to my dad so he doesn’t use all my Makita tools and have got him hooked on these. Really tough bit of kit and makes drilling through really tight spaces an absolute breeze.

Well what can u say . Great bit of kit . Very well built . Gets in the spots a normal drill wouldn’t be able to . I used this to drill through wooden Joyce . This gives u the perfect angle to drill straight in them tight spots .

Great angled drill perfect for drilling cable holes in joists. Really surprised at the power and the weight of the drill. A great addition to the toolbox.

Good bit of kit and great if you are house bashing every day. As its perfect for drilling into joists. Otherwise its not worth it to use once in a blie moon

I bought this about a year ago used it once and never again what a load of poo waste of money don’t bother buying one if you’re thinking about it

Hi Bought this a while ago and I use it pretty much every day. It's cheap to buy and it's got so much power behind it. I can't recommend it enough.

With the same chuck as a standard drill its easy to use and has a strong perch point to lean into it and put the power to your work piece. It will start to smoke under heavy loads though so if you need to do a lot of work I'd recommend looking at other rivals.

First one lasted 6 holes before it started smoking and lost all of its power and the holes were only 16mm into 2” joists. Second lasted much better and still going strong. Great for drilling joists and getting into right spots.

Well this was a seriously disappointing purchase, underpowered, lacking torque lasted about 30 holes before making some awful noises, forgot to get it repaired in time so thats my fault but utter rubbish as a tool.

Good drill gets into places a normal drill won't, feels solid and not to heavy only con is it has no speed setting and a very sensitive trigger

It’s light , compact and very easy to use.
I brought it as a bare unit as already had enough battery’s so made it nice and cheap

Great piece of kit never thought I would ever need one but then comes the day when ur drilling oak beams in a tight space ...powerful little tool does the job got me out of a tight spot and I’m sure it will get used again ...all round good tool the battery is nice and slim aswell which makes it an added bonus

This is a tool I very rarely use, but it’s an invaluable piece of equipment when it does get used. Well priced for body only which is why I have one when it gets so little use.

Great bit of kit very trusted and tested brand I had other make and was ok then I got this one on a offer and only fault I had was I never got it to begin with

Battery lasts ages, gets into some very tight spaces, and delivers the power you expect from a tool of this caliber.

Great piece of kit not sure how I managed without it. Compatible with all the xr range batteries, controllable speed trigger, light weight with a handy belt clip when working at heights. Powerful with good torque, great for drilling in tight spaces, through joists or screwing boiler flues in tight locations.
