DEWALT DCG405 XR Brushless Grinder
The DEWALT DCG405 XR Brushless Grinder has a powerful fan cooled motor with a mesh cover that provides additional motor protection by preventing dust being sucked through the motor. Its electronic clutch reduces the kick back reaction in the event of a pinch or stall.
The two position side handle provides greater control, whilst the rubber overmould provides enhanced grip and comfort. For added safety, the electronic brake stops the wheel quickly when the trigger is released.

Well balanced and easy to use, comes with a quick / tool less release lock nut also.
Good on batteries and plenty of power for what I use it for.
Dont use the handle but the guard is quick and easy to adjust.
Lovely grinder to use and a welcome upgrade to the brushed version.

What an amazing tool. I use this for mainly cutting unistrut and rods.
People who have used this have said how it is nice in the hand and the weight with a 5Ah battery on it, it is.
Saw that a couple of workers have also the same one.
Highly recommend this tool.

An absolute beast! Such a great bit of kit. We use this mainly to cut tiles as it is so light weight and easy to use. However its Powerful enough to then turn to steel and make easy work of it!

If you use the DEWALT platform this is a no brainer. Plenty of power and no cables. Although it does consume the power quite fast put of my 4ah and 5ah batteries

Great bit of kit this grinder it is light but well balanced in hand changing discs no long a pain looking for a key it is now just a Allen key hex . Well built and durable

Plenty of power and balanced great. Would have preferred a thumb trigger rather than a switch. Eats through the batteries, but that is the same for all battery grinders

Great tool and able to use in all positions without the worry of having a cable to avoid. It does use battery power fast so make sure you have an ample supply of batteries to complete the task

well balanced and robust as all dewalt kit.
Make sure you have plenty of batteries available though as it is a hungry bit of kit.
Disc change very straight forward.
I have mostly used it to cut steel containment and it does the job no bother
