The DEWALT DCM5713 Cordless FlexVolt XR String Trimmer is fitted with a 54V brushless motor which delivers the equivalent performance of a petrol trimmer. The patented gear drive means that this trimmer maintains a high cut speed, even under load. Split shaft design for ease of shipping and storage.
Fitted with a dual switching paddle with high/low speed and a lock off switch for improved control. It has an over moulded secondary auxiliary handle with protection bar for added comfort, grip and control. The enclosed, durable xenoy battery housing provides increased protection.

Found out after I purchased that this will only cut grass and no blade option exists. Cutting head clogs up alot and very quickly and takes alot of effort to clean. AVOID

Solid made machine battery powered has a good run time on the flex volt batteries easy to change the strimmer wire not to loud so good if working in an environment where your restricted to a certain amount of noise all round quility machine.
