DEWALT DCN692 Cordless XR 2 Speed First Fix Nailer
The DEWALT DCN692 Cordless XR First Fix Nailer has two speeds (or power levels) to optimise the nailer for firing all lengths of nails. Its BRUSHLESS motor technology offers the power to fire 90mm ring shank nails into soft wood and 63mm into hard woods.
The nailer has two modes. The sequential operating mode allows for precision placement and the bump operating mode provides the user with production speed. Its mechanical rather than gas operation offers consistant performance and minimises cleaning/service requirements. Tool free stall/jam clearance minimises user down time.
The DCN692 has a versatile 30-34° magazine angle that will accept most clipped head and off centre round head paper tape or wire weld collated framing nails. Depths can be easily adjusted using the thumb wheel depth adjuster.
The nailer has excellent vibration and sound figures, which offer fantastic user protection. The tool has an ergonomic design to allow the nailer to fit easily between a 400mm centre stud. A reversable belt/rafter hook povides increased portability and versatility on the job site. Increased visibility and durability along with protection for work-surface from the non-mar contact trip with lock-off to prevent accidental discharge of the fastener.

Great cordless nailer. No gas needed. Two settings for type of use. Fine adjustment of nail setting depth is easy to do. Slightly heavy but a great tool in my opinion.

Love my framing nail gun and it hasn’t missed a beat. Can honestly say I don’t remember having any jamming issues yet and fires 90mm nails effortlessly - long May that continue!

Good if you want a medium use nailer. If you need one for daily use I would stick to a gas nailer. Works well enough and drives nails well unless you hit a knot. I have had quite a few jams following hitting a knot etc which is frustrating and leads to a few minutes with the built in Allen key to release the jam. The inbuilt release lever will sometime clear it though. Battery life fairly good especially with a 5amp plus battery.

Love it, plenty of power, drives all nails well, adjustable depth easy to use, not to heavy.
DeWalt nails only used and only had one or two stoppages.
