The DEWALT DCS380 XR Premium Reciprocating Saw has a powerful fan cooled motor. The high performance reciprocating mechanism and lightweight magnesium gearcase offer the user optimised power to weight ratio and the intelligent variable speed trigger, lock-off switch and electronic motor brake gives quick controlled cuts and enhanced work safety.
It has a lever-action keyless blade clamp for quick and easy blade changes, pivoting adjustable shoe with open top for high stability and blade visibility during a cut and the four-position blade clamp allows for flush cutting and increased versatility. The saw has a modular component design for trouble free servicing with rubber coated grip to reduce surface vibration and user fatigue.

Great saw and multi use for steel or wood excellent for most of the jobs you’ll need great addition to your existing Dewalt kit blades are easy to come by and most blades can be purchased

Light in the hand, tough, and power for days.
I use this to help recycle old tv scenery (I am part of a team of joiners that make scenery for a living).
The blade position is good and can be changed around to suit the direction you are cutting.
It does tend to chew the battery when heavy usage, for this reason I have marked it down on the features and value for money aspect.
It is a good saw for demolition purposes and should be a part of everybodys kit

Pretty handy tool. As always dewalt have excelled on quality of the saw. Used for some gardening and general odd jobs when things need cutting up. Smooth process of removing and inputting blades, and they feel locked in safely

To be fair I have only used this a few times so far but build quality is great as would be expected from a brand like dewalt I needed to trim 30 mitres of small trees and found this was perfect for the job however does drain 6a battery fairly quick

I have been using this a lot recently. Mostly demolition work but I have to say I am impressed with it.
It needs the 9ah as it will drain a battery really rather quickly. But the versatility of having the blade in 90° increments means it is easy to manoeuvre into awkward places.
