Dcs572 has been a brilliant bit of kit to use on site for a while now. Upgraded from the brushed smaller version and I’m very glad I did. I have occasion on cutting sheet material so the Track adapted base is a joy to use and it’ll function freehand with a stable and wide base.
Adjusts easily, accurately and quickly with the depth adjustment handle next to the base.
Ideal for when you don’t need a plunge saw or swapping between skill saw and plunge is a chore or cumbersome to lug onto the job site.

Should have bought this sooner ! The usual DeWalt build quality an feel to this unit giving assurance of its expectation but must say I was shocked at how well it performed. Started cutting 18mm MDF & Ply which was the reason for sale but then my mains powered trusty other brand model packed in for the counter top which was 40mm+, gave it a go and it cut just as east as the 18mm with no drag and no chipping. This is now my only circ saw on the van, lasted all day with a 5Ah battery and still had 1 bar after 6 hours of on/off cutting and trimming and breezes through 3x2.
