I have really taken to these trousers, a massive fan.
Why - because of the interchangable pockets.
What a brilliant idea to bring to market. Can change the pockets to carry, tools, grips, screwdrivers, pens, phones etc etc.
The whole process from ordering to gettting the clothing is also extremely good. Can select the size & they give you the measurements which is a great when ordering off the internet so you can get the correct pair of trousers to fit.

Given a pair of these to test out, had heard mixed reviews about them beforehand but was happy to try them out. I normally wear Englebert Strauss trousers, these I would say are easily on a par with them. The pouches are easily removable and varied for different jobs. The trousers are quite light which is surprising and both warm and cool when needed to be. Will be buying more this coming year

Had these as a tester, must say i found the whole idea really good with the interchangable pockets. I work in Groundworks, Landscaping and Civil Engineering. With the varied works i need different pockets at different times, Dexters trousers really help with that. The sizing wasn't very giving around the waist, Dexters have said they are looking at it, otherwise they are quite comfortable, feel really durable and you don't feel as though the stitching will fall apart.

Overall i do rate Dexters work trousers and will be buying some for me and my team

Hi everyone. It's Scott Priddy here from SAFGas Ltd. I'm going to talk to you about the Dexters work trousers. I've had them a couple of weeks now, but I remember even from the beginning of the process of ordering them, I was impressed as the small, medium and large actually give you the figures of what sizes they cover.

For the trousers, I would expect to be ordering the 30 inch waist with a long leg because I'm 6'2". But, because they actually gave you the measurements of the inside leg, I could get the tape measure out, measure my inside leg and I ended up ordering the 30 inch waist with the regular size length, which meant the knee pads would fit in the right place, which they did. This has always been an issue for myself, and the knee pads generally end up elsewhere, and not in a comfortable place when I'm kneeling down, but this made it simple, and it has proved to work. The knee pads are in the right place.

So, as well as the trousers, I'm breathing in, I was able to order the belt, and again, because they gave you the sizes of the belt, I ended up ordering a medium. With my 30 inch waist, I thought I'd be ordering a small, but this meant that this was right. The buckle on it is good. It's very strong and it fits in quite well. There's grips there seem to work, and I've had no issues with the belt.

As for the pockets, I opted for the plumber's pocket, and then, the general pocket, I suppose it's called, I don't know. The plumber's pocket, I can get lots of things in here, my marker pen, easy accessible. There's a clip for your tape measure. You can have more than one roll of tape on this. I can fit my mobile phone in the pocket. I've got my nail and my little trusty. Pencils was now easily accessible, which wasn't always the case with my old trousers, my other make of trousers. There's some elastics in here, which mean that you can just get your pen hooked in because the pockets are quite deep, so you can still just tuck that in there, and it never falls down to the bottom, which is a bit of an issue if you do put things in, like I have got my spare batteries for my head torch. They're tucked right down in the bottom, but that's fine because I don't access them very often.

The big pocket, the other side is brilliant because, as well as your mobile phone, you can get all your general stuff that ends up in your normal pockets for the week in here with no issues at all. So, you know, all your usual stuff that you have in your normal pockets at the end of the week can end up in here. And then, before you get to the pub on the way home, you can un-clip the pockets off the trousers very easily, and straight into the pub with a normal set of pockets.
The only thing I've had to change my way of working a little bit is, I was used to having the pocket on the right hand side here where I slid my screw drivers into. I've had to get over to the right hand side. There are pockets for them. Sorry, the left hand side. There are pockets for them this side and there's a nice deep pocket there as well for anything else.

So, all in all, right from the beginning of the process, right to the end of the process, I'm really impressed and I should be ordering some more of these trousers for sure. The actual material of them, they seem to be waterproof. They're light weigh, but very tough. I'm, as I said, really impressed. I should be ordering some more, so, Dexters.
