As a plumber Ive been using this on basin wastes for 25 years since I was taught by an old school plumber and have never had a leak, never use silicone for this job.
That said I cant think of anything else I would use it for but always have some in my kit, nightmare to use on a very hot day though!

I have used this product since i was an apprentice many moons ago keep it cool in the van and it’s perfect for basin waste when the basin cast is a bit off. and between basin and pedestal. to stop the dreaded chip on top of pedestal.
not an everyday product but good to have in the van.

Not a fan didn’t last long went hard after only couple weeks didn’t wipe off very well at the moment I can’t recommend this to may give it a go again if comes up at the right price as I may have been unlucky but really not impressed

No impressed with this one.
Goes sticky quickly and isn’t as easy to clean as other brands. As soon as you get a little warmth into it it’ll be more difficult to use than when cold.
