Faithfull Digital Caliper
The Faithfull Digital Calipers are made from hardened stainless steel, this electronic digital caliper provides precision readings through a clear liquid crystal display. Its many features include a fine adjustment roller which allows precise measurements to be taken quickly and easily.
The digital section button enables readings to be displayed in either metric or imperial format. The four-way measurement function provides a choice of readings in external, internal, depth and step modes.
The strong plastic storage case enables the caliper to be kept in a dust and damp free environment.

I use these every now and then for odd screws, bold and components where you have to be absolutely sure of the fitment and not the eyeball calibration.
They’re good and serve a purpose but they’re pretty flimsy and seem like they might die pretty soon.
I’m still not paying for a snap on one.

I use one of these every few months to measure valve regression on an CHP engine. It works ok for a while but then the reading goes out and I have to reset it. Would probably pay a bit extra for a higher quality one next time.

I use it a lot more than I thought I would. From checking period moulding dimentions for a correct match to sizing saw blade bores.
The led screen is easy to read and cen be set in metric or imperial. The slide action is nice and smooth and for the money it's not that bigger cost to replace if it gets knocked of a bench and damaged. The battery life is good and a small button cell can soon be changed under the small flap.
