ForgeFix Builder's Galvanised Fixing Band 20mm x 1.0 x 10m Box 1
This Forgefix fixing band is a heavy-duty, flexible and strong band which is easy to cut and bend. The band has pre-punched holes for fixing bolts and screws, and is made from galvanised steel for protection against corrosion.
Supplied in 10 metre rolls.
APPLICATION:
Ideal for fixing, supporting joists and many more superficial installations.
Can be used with screws and galvanised twist nails.
Galvanisation is process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel in order to prevent rusting. Zinc coatings prevent corrosion of the protected metal by forming a physical barrier, and by acting as a sacrificial anode even if this barrier is damaged.

Super handy to have in the van to help fasten things back together. I have used it as a short term fix to hold industrial guttering up after the brackets had snapped. The 2 sizes of pre punched hole are sized for small diameter screws, upto 8mm bolts.
