Intergas Platinum 5 Installer
An Platinum 5 Installer is an installer that has undergone additional training in Intergas products at one of our nationwide training centres and fulfills other special conditions and highest competency testing relating to gas and public safety. Upon completion of training and approved application, each installer receives an additional 2 years warranty for HRE boilers.

Intergas have progressed well since the UK became condensing only apart from the wasted "B" rated. They are so simple training is basically an introductory viewing.
Installing since 2006 still going great.

Loved doing the p5 training it only takes a few hours out of your day as there just a back to basic boiler with less parts inside the boiler

By carrying out the free course provided by Intergas it allows the customer to receive a 10 year warranty on the eco rf range od boiler if installed by myself or another P5 installer. Course content was excellent on how to operate and rectify any faults for the boiler range was very helpful even though the faults and failures will be few and far between as these boilers only have the 4 moving parts within and eady to maintain.

Being a Pi ensures I can offer the 10 year warranty that comes with the Eco Combi rf, the free training is second to none and they have offered to take me to holland on a factory tour for free, this is definitely a scheme that makes you feel welcomed into a special club of elite engineers, I love the boiler range and the rep is also a top guy.

Good boiler. There new range rapid could do with a better valve setup. Being a p5 installer they should offer us a better warranty.

Intergas is a reliable boiler Once you get it started. I had so many issues with low gas pressures. They sorted them but is a bit annoying when installing a new piece. Never had call back once the boiler started running. And is so quite.
1) operation could be easier, I find a bit complicated to use the interface
2) the jig is not great, intergas need to look at it more
3) why why why the exp vessel is at the back??? Why do I need to take the boiler down, so I can have a look at it?

Having a P5 number of 640, I have been fitting these for over 6 years.
I've had a few issues with various things out of the box but once they are resolved, they run like a dream.
The service is not always the quickest but again they get things done & done correctly.
With fewer parts to go wrong in the boiler, they are reliable & easier to service.

Not really had much to do with the P5 since I signed up, I do however notice the find an installer feature on the website only brings up certain people and not even people who live near the address you look for. Not really a worth while thing but my area rep is brilliant.
