Classic, timeless, robust, slightly better than a candle.
As a tradesman I’ve little use for this in a work environment. Bit alas I have one as I am very sure a lot of us do.
It was synonymous with emergency torch and security patrols years ago but has somewhat fallen out of fashion with the invention of cheap and much better led equivalents.
Kids love it and I still have it around though very little used. But always get that stab of nostalgia coming cross it.

Well here is the dilemma maglite, it used to be my go to torch it was robust and fairly reliable but I’ve started to get issues with the switching , the light going off while using so I’ve switched brands
