Only disappointing part to this drill is the cable , I say that lightly as it’s a great drill and cordless is easier on all occasions unless your battery runs out and you’ve left your charger on another job . Makita , the name says it all , well made and will last for years .

I’ve had this a few years mainly for sds drilling through outside walls,but mainly for 1st fix electrical chasing on Roto stop does quite well,perfect for concrete fixings too

Love the makita hammer drill durable and well priced
I would definitely recommend it but I would say the battery is more useful on site because you don’t know when you have power it it cover all outcomes but if you over come the wire it’s brilliant

Wasn’t too impressed with this. It had a decent life but there were a few issues all along. The Chuck wouldn’t lock every time, the function switch would jam occasionally ally on rotation but when you got it running there wasn’t really an issue at all.

Great drill, but only light duty, have had a couple of these break on me, probably using the drill for more than it is capable of, all round good value for money

Holds its own on most jobs if you don’t mind a cable, no batteries to worry about when the jobs tough. Very reliable . Not cHanged the brushes yet after years of hard use. Can recommend this product

Great sds! I use mine mainly for core holes, I've had 2 now, the first one burnt out after about its 200th core. Only thing when coring is that I feel as if the break comes on slightly too early. It does what it's supposed to and can't really nock it!

Fantastic bit of kit. Mine gets loads of hammer and use. Makita just have never let me down. Solid reliable and would recommend.
