Master Roofers Bossing Mallet
The Master Roofers Bossing Mallet is primarily used in bossing lead in conjunction with a bossing stick or bending stick to create corners in lead sheet and for creating roll ends. Bossing mallets can also be used to strike other lead work tools such as Lead Dressers or Setting-In Sticks. Small headed Bossing Mallets are suitable when creating more defined corners. Mallet heads are machine milled from ultra-high molecular weight poly ethylene which provides excellent resistance to splitting and maintains shape for extreme durability. Non-slip textured acetyl copolymer handle with ribbed profile provides comfort and helps reduce vibration. Great tool for getting into all the awkward spaces. Not easy to find one of these in most DIY shops, so if you see one in your local roofing shop pick one up while it's there.

Good quality plastic, doesn't seen to mark up or scuff as easily as my old ones. Feels nice in the hand. Time will tell if it's good value for the extra cost.
