McAlpine MacXSeal
McAlpine Hybrid Polymer adhesive & sealant is a one part, solvent-free adhesive based on the latest polymer technology. It has excellent UV resistance and primerless adhesion to most substrates. It cures to a tough, elastic adhesive sealant with applications across a range of industries. The cured sealant has good abrasion, oil, and solvent resistance. Contains a fungicide to combat mold & bacteria growth.
Suitable for use in Plumbing sealing and bonding joints.
The product is also suitable for many applications within the automotive, Roofing, marine and coachwork industries.
compatible with most plastics, timber, and metal, for use sealing of expansion and construction joints; it may also be used on moist surfaces.

Found this really hard to use. The white sealant is really thick and hard to smooth out. Not easy to wipe off. Clear sealant really good, but they definitely need to look at making white better to use

I found the white is to thick to use but the clear is fantastic. It is crystal clear and I use it to seal around the bottom of toilets shower tray 1st seal and shower screen wall profiles

Tried this product because I always trust Mcalpine for my fittings and was told by the merchants that Mcseal is the rival for CT1.
Greatly disappointed. Its far to thick. I always put sealant under cistern fill valves for belt and braces but the Mcseal just got pushed out to the sides not leaving any sealant under the fitting. Think I stick to CT1 for the foreseeable future.
