Milwaukee M18™ 1/2" Compact Brushless Hammer Drill/Driver

Easy to use, very powerful and not too heavy. Only downside is I’ve seemed to need a new chuck on both of these combi drills, don’t know if that’s my fault or down to the drill.

For the price you cannot go wrong with drill, significantly less than the fuel it is still amazing. I haven’t had any trouble in the 6 months I have owned mine. Would definitely recommend

Overall a good drill/driver. I've had mine about 2 years with only one problem, the chuck seizes occasionally and needs extreme force to release it. New chucks are very hard to find to fit and ended up buying one online for almost 50% the price of the drill.

Overall though this far out does any of the other brands I've owned in the past.

Use the milwaukee m18 range every single day on site and couldn't fault them at all and the drill getting the most use would be this one and its absolutely brilliant.

Not the most powerful drills in milwaukee range but probably the most used in my sets
Great balanced well weighted and not too heavy at the same time, good run time on the 4ah batteries and great value

Great drill and reasonably priced if you can find it somewhere on offer. As with all Milwaukee tools it is built to last. Great as a multipurpose drill but does struggle if using in place of a Sds drill occasionally. Same as the driver , great for most materials but can struggle when trying to drive self tappers into thicker metals. As a one drill does all it’s a great bit of kit. I use it for my tool bag if I’m going to quick jobs that don’t require more heavy duty kit

Brilliant build quality and great drill. A little expensive but you pay for what you get. Hammer setting struggles but this is not a problem if you have an sds

Great drill but does struggle drilling into harder materials. If you do a lot of hammer drilling get the SDS drill but for anything else this is fine.

This has got to be the best Combi drill I’ve ever had. It’s sturdy, compact and has a fantastic hammer action which makes drilling in hard bricks very easy. Wouldn’t use anything else now

In my opinion it is by far the best combi drill on the market. It’s robust and has a bit of weight behind it so you can feel the support when using it

Good drill had it for two years and a half , works really well tears through alot of things you drill through ,but best part is controlling the speed when you drill easy to use and fit drill bits etc

Had this drill for about 2 years now, it's one of my most used cordless tools and it has never missed a beat. Good battery life and for its size it packs plenty of power for most tasks.

Chosen based upon many recommendations and it has lived up to its reputation. Quality piece of kit which is both powerful and resilient. taking some hammer but not overheating like some I've had.

Picked up this drill to compliment my m12 collection and boy does it pack a hell of a lot more punch. Brilliant product for the price. Could not ask for more

Fantastic drill seems really sturdy handles really well with hole saws etc batteries last well also a decent size kit bag and a good charger

I got this drill at a bargain pricewith three batteries from Plumb Centre. The drill is great with plenty of torque, the only downside is that quite frequently the chuck jams on to the drill bits so I have to hold it with grips to release the drill bit

This drill absolutely knocks the spots off the equivalent Makita drill that I own, more torque, better quality and far better valve for money.

Amazing drill feels really sturdy strong for such a small unit and feel the price is amazing for this piece of kit

I bought the duel set combi and impact, these are by far the best iv had. Battery life is amazing with quick re charge, lightweight but feel chunky and strong. Powerful pair of drills that have never faultered. Expensive but a great investment and value for money. A must buy

Using mine for a couple of years now can't fault it batterys also great would be lost without it . Comes in a nice tough case to protect and keep van tidy

This is a fantastic combi drill. Very powerful yet compact design . 4 stars because of a couple of improvement s i think could be made 1, a clutch system specifically for drilling with large dia bits or holesaws in wood as if the bit catches the torque on the drill is pretty high and could cause injury especially with single handed operation. 2, reposition speed selector as i often accidentally select it

Brought mine as part of a kit with an 18v sds drill and a 12v torch. I'm really happy with them and use them most days.

They sit well in the hand and do what I need them to do. What more can I say?

Great, well balanced drill. Does everything I need from a Combi drill, though a third speed wouldn't hurt, but possibly because I'm used to that, having had three speed dewalts previous to upgrading to milwaukee.
Chuck developed a fault after a year, after a bit of a faff actually getting hold of milwaukee to sort out the in warranty repair, they were very quick to turn it around, so still very happy with the brand.

Great combi drill, although expensive the build quality and reliability is worth it. Good warranty too.
