Monument 3240U Mono Tap Back Nut Spanner Set & T-bar Grip

Great tool for any plumber starting out. You can join these together to reach up to the back of sinks. Highly recommended especially to any plumber not wanting to spend a fortune on expensive alternatives.

I’ve got the taped kit but still keep these around.
They are versatile and you can slot them into each other to gain a bit of leverage and length.
An item you don’t want to be without.

These spanner’s have paid for themselves 100 times over. They are a necessity for monobloc tap replacements but make the job so simple. Nothing fancy or technical. Simple block spanners that interchange to extend the length. Use the tail or a screwdriver or a shifter to get some torque on to fittings

Good product which helped me hugely when fitting a new mono kitchen tap, without this tool I think it would have been impossible to fit it securely with my very bad access under the sink! However, as other/s mentioned in the reviews the sizes can be a bit off. I to had to slightly file the inside of one of the sizes to get it to match the corresponding size nut in order for it to fit - this was simple enough if you have a very small metal file, which I did. So a good product I would say for minimal use, but you may want to fork out more if wanting to use such a tool frequently.

Been using a competitor to these for a while until I set up my apprentice with my old ones and bought this grip plus set and haven’t looked back. They are always to hand and have never rounded a nut or expanded even after using a lot of force would recommend them.

These box spanners are a must for your toolbox. It gives you excellent access to change taps without breaking your wrists to gain access. Also grest gor tightening bsth lrgs.

These make life so much easier, wish I had bought them years ago.
They are a decent length and you can fit one inside another if you need to get yourself out of a cramped spot between the bowl and the unit carcass.

One of these will fit the back nut on the tap and are easy to turn. If the nut is extremely stiff then a pair of grips on the end will always get them going.

Absolutely love these, makes easy work of fittings in confined spaces an absolute must for anyone’s toolbox. Great selection of sizes and incredibly strong. Can’t recommend these enough.

Another must have for any plumbers toolbag, these are used for removing monobloc taps for kitchen sinks and basins. They come in a range of sizes that fit most if not all common tap fittings.

are really well designed the different sizes make them easy to insert into each other and make them into an extension bar to easily get to harder to reach places.

Brilliant little set that always in my service kit. Not only will it do the job it’s designed for (mono block tap back nut) but I have also found them useful for removing/undoing Boiler parts, especially some of the plastic drain off points.

These box spanners are great. I especially like how you can slot them into each other when you’ve got a nut to undo that is quite far up. They also come in handy to remove certain shower cartridges or boiler sensors. In fact anything that is an hexagonal nut and fits into any of these. So next time you have a Belfast Sink? Just slot them together and get it up there.

absolutely love these, built for tap nuts, can get into the hard to reach spaces to stop taps moving which my customers love. used the to fit the bolts to secure toilets as well. a small stubby screwdriver also works instead of the bar when the gaps are too small for that to fit it easily. a must for any tool kit

These little box spanner and bar make fitting mixer taps so easy now. They get into tight spaces to get the back nut off the tap so easy and the bar gives more lerevage to undo the nut.

Good quality spanners. Couldn't be without them. Stick them in the end of a drill for a quick tightening without the bar. A must for any plumber.

These are a great set of box spanners and are of good quality and have all the usual sizes. if you need a longer reach just daisy chain them together and you can have a long reach box spanner. I also use a ratchet with this set as well to get better leverage.

I've always had a set of these monobloc spanners, the quality has improved over the years, these work really nicely when used with their grip plus range.

Im a spark and not use to tighten nuts in funny position. Newertheless this tool make it easy for me. I use this set to replace bath tap and its good value for money

A must have when fitting kitchen taps, several different sizes, so one will always fit, and can jpin them together for those harder to reach nuts.

Not a plumber by trade but found this really useful, easy to use, not too bulky and great value for money.

A great set easy to use and fit in those tight spaces. So much easier when swapping kitchen monoblocs. Could do with a small tool roll/ bag with them as nearly lost the bar a few times.

Wouldn't be without these. Makes what can be a long and awkard job quick and easy. Have a monobloc tap tightened up in less than 2 minutes with these

Great for those tight to reach places for taps. Much easier than trying to get an adjustable up into a tight space. Just pop a box spanner on the nut and turn it off

Can't go wrong with a set of these, good quality Defo built to last. Lost the rod/bar pretty quickly so a case/bag supplied with the kit would be good.

Great kit good value for money must have for any plumber makes it very easy with taps only thing I would like is little case for them to come in even if it was couple qui more as I keep having to tape mine together as lost couple in past and have to replace

Cant ask for much more really, much better build quality than the cheapo ones from toolstation. Easy to use and do exaxtly what they're intended for

These make fitting monobloc taps so easy. Could do with being slightly longer, but they can be used in conjunction with a couple of other monument tools to get over their length issue.

Good set of tap spannners, that fit well, if you're fitting taps you can't be without these! They also feel really well built out of strong materials, can't see any reason they won't last for years!

This is a great set for removing and fitting mono block taps. They can be slotted together to give that extra bit of length if there ate obstructions under the sink, gone are the days of removing the waste and pipes to get my hand in.

Amazing tool couldn't possibly change some sink and basin taps without them. Very basic but super effective. I would buy these over and over again.

If you haven't got s hand like Jeremy Beadle or a giraffes neck you need to get a set these makes getting the nut of that awkward to reach nut on a kitchen monoblock sink a doddle. A real must

Have had this little set for 6+ years & for the money they are a bargain that have saved the day many a time with wobbly taps etc.....

It is an absolute nightmare to replace a mono block tap without these and for the price, why would you bother! They are as cheap as chips!

I've had my set for probably over 10 years and the only thing that has faultered is the bar that lets you twist the box spanner but I just use a adjustable spanner on the opposite end and they gives a lot more leverage.

If you're installing kitchen mono taps, these are a must. Great bit of kit. Remember the old days trying to get a small spanner up there, nightmare.
