Monument Automatic Copper Pipe Cutter

Absolutely love these cutters, have used many over the years but these are probably my favourite. I have both the copper and plastic cutters and highly recommend

Didn’t get along with it. Misshaped the pipe and tracked along it also. Seemed like a good idea but user error but happened a few times.
Gonna stick with the regular style.

Not a big fan, with a new blade in them it’ll cut like nothing else. But after a short while it can start tracking down the pipe leaving a messy cut.
I’ve gone through a couple of these and had the same issue after extended use.
Maybe user error but back to the rothenberger I go.

My goto pipe slice, compact, strong, accurate, smooth. Having used many varieties of pipe slice over the years I was extremely surprised how good this one was especially with it being of the plastic variety, I initially assumed it would be inferior to its metal counterparts how wrong could I be! This is now my preferred slice, its extremely accurate and cuts in either direction, the completely closed circle makes turning so much easier in tight spaces and the blades have a decent life span. I'd highly recommend you give this a try if you haven't already. #AskForMonument

Great product really comfortable to . It has a spring lock once you push forward it locks in, to release twist it back hiving a great accurate cut.

These are great for the price, gets into places other bulkier cutters don’t. They don’t like getting left wet and will die very quickly if you don’t dry them but other than that a decent cutter

Easiest and fastest cutter i have. Small enough to get into the small areas people like to place pipes gives a nice clean cut and locks in place

Decent bit of kit only issue is that if you use it going the wrong way the clasp opens back up and punches your finger otherwise the quality is there had it a few years and works great

Best pipe slice on the market for plastic pipe especially condense pipework. Easy to use and compact enought to fit into tight or award spaces. Cut nice a clean and blades can be replaced.

Cracking little pipe slice. The closing “mouth” gives 360 grip and the small size means it can get into really tight spaces (definitely a bonus on some refurbs).Above give a nice tidy cut with no sharp edges.

These cutters seem to a lot quicker due to the fact that you can roll back & forth around the pipe, superb.
Also, they can be used to give a precise cut for my M press fittings so saves time when getting things together, perfect....
Due to bother fact you cab roll these cutters both ways around the pipe, it makes the cut so much quicker therefore saving time.
Seem to be able to get them into awkward places also whuch is a massive help obviously

It's an OK tool as a backup to a rothenburg, I found it annoying when I had to keep opening up, I just want to slide on pipe and cut, the the shutting cutter ends up getting stuck after any length of wet work but great for a spare

I initially purchased this as a backup if my rothenberger ever failed and I was on a job, But now this is my primary cutter and the rothenberger now just sits in my tool bag! it's a decent build quality (not the fastest at cutting) but lasts a lot longer on the blade than other brands

These pipes slices are really good for cutting copper pipe and they are so easy to use to cut the pipe and always cuts the pipe straight and alway cuts within a few turns

Good study model of the 15mm cutter I have two of these and you just snap them on the pipes and by far the easiest ones to cut with I have brought, also no catching fingers etc. Good tool to have

A great pipe cutter, my only gripe is it goes through cutting discs so fast, simple to change but would be nice to get a little more use out them before needing to change.

Great pipe slice although maybe not as well built as the monument version. The one really good feature is being able to clip is round a pipe in a tight place

£11 paid, perfect tool for the job, I got these for the apprentice, work well, lasted forever on the original wheel, nice bright colours for locating in the bottom of the tool bag, 10/10

I got a set of these for the apprentice, i have a go time to time, good cutters, lightweight and easy to find if you put them down, the work perfectly fine, for the money the are spot on.

Found this really easy to use a lot easier than I found the 22mm cutter Although I found the wheel went blunt after 4-5 uses.

Good value for money but I wasn't that impressed with these cutters and would much prefer the monument auto cutters

Not really impressed with this cutter. Gave a very burred cut. Started spiralling pretty much straight away. The only good thing I like about it was that I can line up the cutter perfect then snap it shut.

I only occasionally have to use copper so its compact size makes it ideal for the toolbox. Like how it snaps fully around pipe and leaves a clean cut with no effort.

This has got to be my favourite pipe slice. Lightweight, sharp and quick to cut. Like the fact it has a gate over the opening too

Good for tight spaces as thinner than most cutters. Doesn’t corkscrew. Reasonably priced Cutter. Very easy to use

Great bit of kit for those tricky tight spaces clicks on and stays on wouldn't use any other cutter, could do with a full set being available

Had these few years now like it as pipe don't jump out but the blades just done last and you end up having to turn it loads and loads of times, but for the ones they are good most of my tools are monument and big monument fan, my first pipe cutter was monument had that for 18 years and still works well to this day!

A good quality cutter that cuts through copper how it should do, leaves a nice clean cut, however from past experience I have found that this is not good when you need to use it for a bit of live action, cutter stayed on the pipe and was an absolute nightmare to get off whilst trying to get a cap end on, but overall a very good cutter to keep in your bag

Easy to use and doesn't slip off like conventional slices. Being thinner means you can get tighter cuts into walls if needs be and where really handy in tight spaces where you didn't want to drop anything where you couldn't get it back again!

I initially laughed at these but soon had my face slapped. A tad tricky to get used to at first but works really well. I use it mostly for pipework close to walls where I think it comes into it's own. Very reasonably priced also.
