Panasonic will always be faultless and we put ours through a lot. This one seems to be living up to its normal reliable status with good features on the speed and torque settings but all I would add is definitely use the 18volt batteries if it takes 14.4v they seem a little sluggish.

I have the 28v SDS as well as the 18v impact driver and drill driver. All have performed faultlessly for several years now. I believe these are as good as Hilti, but for less money.
