I bought the version of this tin that has the protruding screw top from Jewsons. It was 20 pounds, which I thought was a little on the expensive side, but Id been to 5 trade places and this was the only tin by any manufacturer I could find. Im building a workbench with an MDF topper and a number of reviews showed this danish oil to be best at repelling water, oil and paint on MDF. Id have to agree. Ive done 3 coats applied with a brush. Easy to apply. It seems to go a long way as well. Bench top is about 2m2 and the tin feels pretty full still. Maybe used 1/4. Plenty left over for other MDF projects. When I run out, Ill look for the same brand again. Worth the investment.
