Looking at the reviews I’ve probably had a similar experience as everyone else to be honest. Good pump (bit on the expensive side), but it can be noisy when it’s on so can be annoying if your room sits next to the airing cupboard

One of my favourite pumps to install from the Salamander range. Doesn’t take long to install, is fairly quiet for a pump of its power and considering the competition, it’s fairly priced as well. Customers are very happy with their massively improved pressure / flow rate after I’ve installed this.

Really not a big fan of the home boost. It’s okay to install, but when it’s installed it’s incredibly loud and I’ve had to replace a few from customers who complained about it! Also I think you can get a better performance from other pumps IMO

Really easy to install, not too expensive (around about the same price as other pumps) and customers have all been happy with it. Only thing I would say is it does generate a bit of noise when it’s on, but other than that it’s spot on.

I think it’s a little pricy for what it does because there are cheaper alternatives out there, but all in all it’s a decent bit of kit.

Can be a bit noisy depending on where you’re installing it, but if it’s tucked away in an airing cupboard away from the bedroom it should be fine.

Quite noisey, but quite simply to install and set up.Customers always want the cheapest but I like to fit what is best for the application so a discount for installers would help us sell more

Good brass connections, vibration noise brings it downI. Does what it says, got my flow rate up from 8lpm to 12. The Other option was a new water main quoted at ?2400 from welsh water, so this was a much cheaper alternative.

I only use Salamander pumps as i am an approved installer because they're easy to use and install. For the design and build quality of the pumps along with the guarantee they provide compared to other brands just makes sense

I had a customer ask me too install this to replace an old Stuart Turner that had been there for a decade or so, and I’ve got too say I was well impressed.

Super easy to install and a lot quieter than the old one. Wud recommend if you’ve got a customer with low water pressure

Installed a couple of these at customers homes and had no complaints touch wood and they’re easy to fit, so would recommend.

I’ve marked it down for value for money because it doesn’t include the fittings (but they do offer a separate fittings pack in case you’re out).

I've fitted 3 of the home boost pumps now and they definitely work well, the only problem is you need the room after the stopcock to fit the pump in. You literally just fit it and plug it in, very easy. The pump will only start pumping if it's needed. They are still expensive up not as much as running in a new blue pipe for the main shut off on the pavement.

Isn't exactly a cheap pump, but it's a good quality, very easy to use and install (plug and play). Like I said, quite expensive but cheaper than other brands so recommend it to most of my customers.

Excellent product feels well built. Plug is provided so just plug and play basically/ Does exactly what it says. We fitted this product on a low pressure property and raised it to 12ltrs without any new pipework or damage to the property

Well as a concept it’s great. But it didn’t really have the effect we hoped for and at the price you’d hope it’s be better than it was. Running a new side wasn’t an option and the area was low flow anyway. It made a small difference but not worth the price tag.

A very handy piece of kit for dealing with a system with low pressure. I do take issue that the unit is not supplied with the required fittings to make the connections

These are a great solution to low pressure. Easy to install once you have the fittings. It’s a shame they don’t supply the fittings as this is an extra expense after buying a costly pump. I only don’t give it 5 stars on features because it doesn’t have any. Nice to have a unit with a plug on. This makes the install easy!

I have installed about 15 of these and every one has solved the common problem of low water pressure.
The unit is easy to install and very cost effective. The latest models are a vast improvement fro the earlier models. They are not noisy when working.

Good build quality and ease of installation. Gives the Homeowner that much needed boost to mains water that is sometimes required. A good/low cost solution for a common problem.

I use these every now and then and they do work very well. 12 litres a min at max and won’t give any more than that as it’s set at that. Good build quality and features are decent.
The item does not warrant price as there are others out there.

I have fit 5 of these over the last 5 years & none of them have had any trouble so far.
Easy to fit & quiet when running. Although they maybe looked at as costly, when you feel how solid they are & consider they have resolved that annoying low water pressure problem, I don't think they are too expensive.
Would always fit one of these in low water pressure properties, they just plug in and work, brilliant.
