I've tried alot of work pants now and find these to be the best im a 36" regular and where other brands have either been to tight or loose these are a perfect fit, Knee pad pockets are where they should be and not halfway down the shin. I'd definitely give these pants a 10/10

Have always found these to be one of the most comfy work trousers but have found the price has gone up but the build quality has not. The pockets come apart at the stitching Manx the zips are always breaking. If they could sort those problems out then they would get 5 stars on build quality.

Scruffs were always my go to but in the past year or so I have found the prices have rocketed and and not so impressed with the performance, they last around a year for me with the knees wearing out. For the light domestic use they would probably be fine but on hard and rough surfaces they just dont last

The best work trousers I have found.
Long lasting and very comfortable to wear all week long.
Actually have good knee inserts unlike a lot of others.
Would highly recommend this product.

There are often deals going on Screwfix for these and I’ve found a few other places online that sell them for less.
But however you knock Screwfix for it’s diy centric sales, the returns policy is next to none.

These are good trousers the ever elusive 32 long are hard to find but decent when you do. As a cheaper quick replacement they do the job.

The best work trousers I've had. Comfortable, lightweight and designed with tradesmen in mind. They improved the knee pad pouch to bottom entry so they don't pop out after many hours working on your knees as a lot of us plumbers have to do.

I really like these trousers. Look good and are so practical. If you spend time on your knees then treat yourself to the knee pad inserts. You forget they’re there and it has saved my already damaged knees.

Bought these as my first pair of working trousers, they're a great pair of trousers, very versatial and having all those pockets is a god send because you're not wasting time and energy going to your toolbox or your van for a screwdriver, spanner or socket.

It seems to me with work trousers you get what you pay for. I’ve tried various other brands and they all appear to have “size” issues. I’m a 36” waist so a 36”should be fine... well no. It’s a bit tight but I need to go bigger as I have big thighs. I had to go for a 38” is great for my legs but no forgiving to my tummy (better loose weight).

Only issue with buying online is you can’t try it on. I’d say go a size up from your normal, and it should be fine.
Build quality seems to be good and loads of pockets for bumph.

I’ve tried the brands you find in a large DIY chain store and that one was way out with the size and the quality didn’t feel as good as these trousers.

Reliability, only time will tell how good they are.

I now have 3 pairs of these trousers, find them very comfortable, not too heavy , lots of useful pockets and most of all great value for money ! Previously a snickers wearer, but found them to not last long enough bearing in mind they’re near 3-4 times the price of these scruffs

I’m a big fan of the Scruff trousers, these supply all day comfort and enough pockets to hide everything from the kitchen sink in.

The only complaint I have with them is the top loading knee protective pad pocket is a pants design for the type of work that I do as my knee pocket is constantly getting filled up with rubble/dirt. Bottom loaded is the way ahead.

These have lasted a surprisingly long time for me considering it’s not Cordura material.
The main reason I purchased these are for the fit... small leg is actually a small leg and it’s a slim fit design! Looks good and a comfortable fit. Much cheaper than other brands but still lasts.

Have always used Snickers but needed a pair of trouser quickly so bought these as a temporary pair.
However I now have 2 pairs!

They are great, good fit, strong and lightweight.

Loads of pockets and even accept the snickers knee pads. Only problem is the knee pads go in from the bottom but they stay in well.

Hi, guys. Dan from Finnoah on the Verified Build. Just doing a Tool Talk review on the Scruffs kit. Firstly, I'll start with the trousers. I'm a fairly chunky chap, so getting trousers that fit quite well is hard to comebine. And having the flexibility of the material with ease, there's no restriction in the fabric. Quite flexible. I've just been posed out for doing a Spiderman pose. There you go. Absolutely love them. Really comfortable, easy to work in. As you can see, I work outdoors and I've not got soaked yet. The water resistance off them is pretty good as well. Moving on to the jacket, it's a thermal lined jacket. Again, working outdoors, we like to wrap up warm, but again, not being too bulky gives us loads of flexibility and manoeuvrability. I'd highly recommend, and again, when it comes to the fit, I've gone for a large, normally an extra large, but nice fit on them. Don't make me feel too big.
